Went for a meal Saturday night 3rd June. Great service, very helpful staff, I had the Tuna which was delicious and my friend had the scampi. A live band called "Don't Ask" was playing which made the evening we didn't leave until late . Great atmosphere. Well done !

We held a company social evening in the Crown and Anchor's function room, and it was a brilliant night. The room has its own bar, and views out across the river. Staff were very friendly, helpful and courteous. A great time was had by all.

Thank you to Jason, Corrie, Esa and all the team for looking after The Gemini Print Group so well. Meeting layout, lunch, break drinks and the evening meal was without fault - with caring friendly service consistent at all times.

Literally just walked in off the street after a stroll and sat out in the back garden . Beautiful summers evening and a great view .Love the bar stools looking over the river .. ..Will definitely be back

I was a late walk in last night and couldnt have wished for more. Kitchen bent over backwards to accomodate my late meal order ( I had just finished work and it was looking like I was going to have a 2nd night without a proper meal) what came out was delicious. Helen behind the bar was super friendly and helpful. Made me feel very relaxed and at home. Thanks for making my Wednesday that much better.

I came down here with some girlfriends last night. We caught the lazy evening sun in the garden followed by a lovely BBQ they put on outside. The food was great and the staff were really friendly. I will definitely be back and I hope they continue to do the BBQs during the summer months.

Had my 21st birthday party in the function room upstairs and it was amazing! The staff looked after us especially Elisa and the lovely barmaid. Great food and drinks! Would definitely recommend to anyone interested in having a party! Thank you so much!! �

Had a lovely lunch today, myself and my friend both really enjoyed it, the menu has a great selection and the wine list is also full!

Great venue, good food at reasonable prices and very friendly staff, we ate overlooking the river watching the tide come in, we have been since and were not at all disappointed, don't be put off by dark exterior it's huge inside goes right back to the river

Been going to the quiz every Tuesday for last 4 months or so. Also work in shoreham and use the pub a couple of times a week for liquid lunch break. (Soft drink only)😜

I have to say that the bar staff are without doubt the best I have ever known in a pub. They are all so friendly and polite.

great pub great atmosphere and the food is excellent The muscles are to die for and so is sea bass. if you have never been there your missing out

Nice restaurant at the back and space to sit outside overlooking the river, if it's nice enough weather (which it wasn't!). I just had an egg sandwich which came with salad and chips, was very nice. The onion rings were really good

It was nice but maybe a little over priced. A friend wanted her desert without custard and it arrived covered in custard so hadn't been made fresh. When asked for another one Waitress said 'but you won't taste it' that was quite poor considering the quality you should expect with the price tag!

Good location by the river and we had sunshine to enjoy a beer. Didn't try the food and the windows needed some attention as did the toilets.. It could be amazing 😎🍾

We used to have a quiz team every mth at the Crown & Anchor. Then early this year we all met up again and the quizmaster had gone along witgh the buzz, well-organised and broad questions...and the numbers. Not been back but would so love a GOOD Shoreham pub quiz. Anyone know if it's changed or of another quiz?

Sorry to say our favourite Shoreham pub has gone down hill...well, I say 'gone down hill', more like plummeted at speed.



We booked in for a meal with friends but immediately realised conversation would be difficult due to the tv/football being on (top bar was closed?) and a large group of raucous men enjoying the game (no issues there). However, as the evening progressed, they made their way to the restaurant part of the pub...sorry, not acceptable! At one point, the music was turned up so loud that we realised that was our cue to leave as despite sitting next to each other we couldn't hear each other!



As for the food...the churros got our seal of approval, that's it. The crab and avocado DEFINITELY needs rethinking as it was a green slimy mess with NO hint of crab! Thank god they serve gin is all I can say!

My friend had Buddha's bowl which was a dry plate of vegetables...no dressing no sauce ...not edible with dry chicken which stunk ...she sent it back ...I had 3 prawns with noodles and veg ...child's portion and it cost £14.....not impressed ....we were the only ones in there on Fri afternoon...I wonder why...they have changed their menu and it is awful

change the chief the food is very very poor looks horrible to eat smaller portion even the desert was smaller is the landlord in trouble get rid of the cheif
