Wonderful warm welcome, lovely pub and lovely food, can highly recommend.

Really lovely pub with a great atmosphere. Went twice in 2 days because they have live music on a Friday and Saturday night. Friendly staff and welcoming locals. Good mix of people of all ages. We really enjoyed it! Sad to not be able to experience the Jazz Thursdays

Rang Saturday night to book for Sunday lunch and they squeezed us in! Arrived Sunday and was seated next to a lovely open fire! Our food came out very quickly and was piping hot! Plenty on the plate so was surprised when a dish of vegetables was placed on our table. Everything was well cooked and the gravy came up to the boast that the gravy is homemade! We followed the lovely roast beef with a great spotted dick! Proper suet spotted dick and custard but I was disappointed because I just couldn't manage it all! Will return when in the area again!!

Lovel traditional pub that is truly dog friendly, Alan our greyhound loved the treats and cuddles from the bar staff. Really helpful friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Good English pub grub that was tasty, well cooked and reasonably priced.

Love traditional pub. Friendly staff, lovely food and dog friendly.

Great place, a proper pub with good beer & wine, been in CAMRA's good beer guide for over 30 years & you can see why. Food always looks good although not eaten here. Listened to a good band last night & talked to lots of interesting people (including the band singer's mum!) plus the cat from the farm up the road likes to take up residence on any vacant seat/lap. Recommended 🙂🙂🙂

Great choice of beers and traditional pub food. Friendly service makes for a perfect pub

Frazer Lepford was great on Saturday night. We highly recommend that you check out his music and go and see him live!!

Thank you The Crown and Trumpet for being the venue for live music!!! See you again soon

Found this local pub over 20 years ago and still going back whenever possible. The grub is proper home cooked, and for the area, it is excellent value. If you like an old traditional pub with fireplaces, dogs, great ales and excellent staff who go the extra mile this is it. They have rooms too. Yes we will return.

Even though we have a 17th century pub ourselves my husband and I always love to escape on our night off to this place the beer is excellent the food is good old hearty pub food and the folks are fab i this pub.

User

Beautiful traditional country pub serving great food with lovely staff! Plenty to choose from off vegetarian menu and dog friendly! Perfect!

Andrew and his staff were very friendly and always helpful. We enjoyed the Bar and Lounge area of the quaint old Inn and loved our evening walks to the Main Street for a promenade, coffee or meal. The meals and snacks we had at The Inn We're excellent. I especially enjoyed the high quality Stilton Cheese in the Ploughman's Lunch. The room was typical for a refurbished Tudor. Modern shower and toilet, comfortable beds. And a sloping floor. Loved it!

And on Thursday night 2 hours of Live Blues.

We highly recommend the Crown and Trumpet! Thanks Andrew. And please pass on our thanks to your staff.

Amazing pub. Friendly place great food and loads of different brews.

User

A proper English pub!

unpretentious, fantastic local ales and ciders ( six no less!)

Lovely traditional pub grub to die for!

One of my favourite pubs! Just wish it was a bit nearer to home!

User

Traditional English pub with 6 rooms upstairs They have the most amazing variety of beer on tap and won many awards for the best beer pub. I loved their traditional English desserts and the pub food was really good! The only fault was the plumbing was noisy and the water pressure of the shower leaves much to be desired.

User

Fabulous old pub with an authentic old fashioned interior in the beautiful Cotswold village of Broadway. Loads of Ciders & some excellent local real ales along with a good range of food options served in a bar adorned with beer memorabilia from a bygone era. Close to the short stay car park off the High Street & well worth seeking out.

User

Just needs a better lager!! And the cost of a bowl of chips is bloody ridiculous when it gets served in a bowl no bigger than an ash try!!

User

The Mango cider was really good, but the veggie Sunday meal , which was a roast without the meat and veggie gravy was the same price as those having the meat!! Very disappointing if your veggie, as there was no option to go with veggie Sunday meal.
