We were here 22nd may for our wedding anniversary absolutely loved it, girl behind the bar and serving couldn’t do enough for us, really pleasant, busy evening coped really well, fantastic food, will definitely be going back.

We hired the Crown for a group of around 25 for my sisters hen do. Afternoon tea was perfect. Catered for various diets. The staff made it so special. Absolutely brilliant! Thank you!

We had a fabulous Sunday lunch at the Crow sat out side in the sun. The food was very good and well presented. The staff were very accommodating to are needs. We would recommend going for a bite to eat if you’re in the area!!

Tapas was the best I've ever had each dish cooked to perfection! We ordered the 3 for £12 lunchtime deal which is good value. Friendly helpful chap served us and knew the menu well. Pleasantly exceeded expectation. Will be back! �

Omg had some Sunday lunches in my time but this is another Level staff great beef was pink (but was offered more cooked) gravy was amazing roast potatoes crunch & soft inside � going bknext week!! �

I was looking for somewhere local for afternoon tea. After seeing a friends photo she took on her visit a thought I would try it. I was not disappointed. Staff very friendly, very stylish decor and the food can not be faulted. I always find afternoon teas to be over the top with to many cakes all filled with cream. This one has a very good balance of savoury (hot and cold) and desserts. Well done chef is was the best one I’ve ever had

I have never visited the crown despite living in morecambe all my life. Anyway a family member recommended it so we decided to give it a try. 5 star service and 5 star food. The staff couldn’t do enough to help without being too over the top! The food is absolutely amazing and the atmosphere is lovely! Since my first visit I’ve been back several times and it’s quickly turning into my favourite restaurant ... not forgetting the amount of gins available � I would definitely recommend to anyone!!!!

I had my baby shower at the Crown yesterday and It was brilliant. The staff were fantastic, very helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. The food was also delicious and there was plenty of it. Highly recommended �

Had the nicest food that I've eaten in a long time tonight..we eat out regularly and this has surpassed everywhere locally. Lovely relaxed environment, great staff and a good selection of gin, will certainly be returning

Had a father’s day meal today, really lovely would recommend the chicken kebabs ,really filling and of course the kebab sauce. The staff are really nice and helpful ,definitely will be back.

Came for Sunday lunch yesterday 4/11/18 and got to say the food was amazing and so much of it, I had the 3 courses and couldn't finish my crumble as was so full after the chicken wings and ribs (highly recommend all). We will definitely be visiting again soon xx

I've been here before for tapas. And it was lovely. Staff very helpful. Food lovely. And good wine and gin selection. Just a shame the wine I like is a little on the expensive side. But worth it as a treat. This time we were there for afternoon tea. Again staff and surrounding were lovely. Parts of the afternoon tea were really nice. Unfortunately. The sandwiches were a bit limp and lacking colour all white bread which plays havoc with my stomach. And nearly every one covered in some yellow sauce. No salad. Very bland looking. And the brownies. Weren't brownies at all just a very tasteless dry sponge mixture. However the fish and chips were fine. The lemon posset and scones were delicious. This won't stop me visiting again as I'm hoping it was just a one off and the quality of the sandwiches will improve as they get more feedback. Well done on everything else though. It's a lovely place to visit.

Had afternoon tea here for a small baby shower , we took decorations down day before and they dressed the table for us which was a nice touch , staff was lovely the place was spotless and afternoon tea was well worth the money with a good selection of sandwiches , cakes and even mini fish n chips which were delicious , we will definitely be returning to try their lunch/dinner menu in the near future

Had a really lovely meal tonight for my grandmas birthday. Staff were friendly and really accomadating to me with my baby and pram moving furniture for us. Will definitely return.

We stayed for two nights in the deluxe suite, it’s a lovely big room with great views. The bathroom lets it down though, the toilet feels like it’s going to fall off the wall and the shower is so bad we couldn’t use it, we had to have baths. The shower was constantly switching from ice cold to scalding hot without us touching the control. When you’re paying £100 a night you expect a shower that can be used. I think instead of 3 extra chairs the bedroom would benefit from a dressing table. Also we were disappointed to find breakfast wasn’t included even though it was when we booked earlier in the year. Staff were friendly and it was clean but not sure we’d stay again.

I took my friend for his birthday lunch. We had afternoon tea. Omg I've never been so stuffed in all my life! But I couldn't stop eating! My friend eats loads and just loves sweet stuff, but by the time we got around to the deserts he could only manage the scone. It was beautifully presented, no charge for tea top ups, prosecco was served with raspberries too! Katie was lovely right from booking to service I couldn't fault her, such a lovely girl. All in all we really enjoyed the hotel and the afternoon tea.

UPDATE ADDED 12th May

Sadly exactly a week later we returned to have afternoon tea again, this time for my birthday. I simply couldn't believe the difference! The sandwiches were made from bread that was bordering on being stale, the beef was full of grisly fat. We got some sort of yellow jam in the scones but because there was only a scrapping, the scones were very dry. I always thought it was supposed to be strawberry or raspberry jam in scones. But whatever they put in ours it was awful! We also got cheese and some sort of chutney but there was hardly any cheese or chutney in them. To make a direct comparison with last week we stayed for ages and had more tea, this time we had one cup of tea and couldn't wait to get away. Unfortunately my friend paid the bill in full and didn't complain, he just said I just won't come back.

I am extremely disappointed because I had looked forward to it for a week and it was my birthday lunch. Totally ruined. So all in all it now seems it's a bit hit and miss. I don't think I'll be trying again, the disappoint was too much.
