went to the crown today had a 160z gammon with eggs and cheesy bubble squeak and bake beans , proper handsome meal , staff where very helpful and friendly

Went for a meal yesterday evening with my family. The food was absolutely lovely. My husband had the steak and it was cooked just how he likes it. The staff were very friendly. Will def be returning soon x x

We had a meal celebrating my daughter's 21st birthday. There were 26 of us so we pre ordered. The meals were first class and the service was amazing. A big thank you to you all for your hard work.

Super friendly staff, food cracking value 16oz rump for £11 and it was cooked to perfection. Room clean and breakfast good. Highly recommended for business travelers who want a place to stop over without any of that corporate rubbish you get with chains.

A friend and myself visit often and alway have good food. We celebrated my birthday with you in march. There was 12 of us and was a nice evening other than the waitress didnt smile all evening. Lovely cosy pub. We will be back.

Went there for a birthday meal. Booked a table for 7.45 but didn't eat main meal until 9pm as they were busy. Unfortunately of the 4x meals only one was a nice meal.

I don't understand when pubs and restaurants have the seating for a certain amount of people especially when they know they are booked why they can't cope with cooking the meals. If they can't cope don't take the bookings

Well. Mould on the bathroom wall. A toilet that refused to flush. Very expensive beer with a poor selection. Arkells bitters, not worth drinking. Food OK if overpriced for the what is a basic fare. Staff uninterested to the point of surly. And rooms where you can hear the conversations of all the neighbours. Oh and a tatty bathroom . Other than that it was OK.
