Hi Guys, on this day 24 years ago we opened the doors to the Crown & Mitre! Here we have raised our children (and now the two grandchildren are nearly teens running around the place), made some amazing friends (and sadly lost some fantastic people too), we've had hard times and made some amazing memories to take with us when we finally retire πŸ˜‰ but one thing is for sure, we couldn't have done it without the love and support from our Family, Friends and loyal customers! From ...the bottom of our hearts we thank each and every one of you! With love and thanks from Roger & Yvonne xx
Not bad for a grumpy landlord πŸ˜‰

We had a lovely home cooked meal upstairs. Fantastic location on the river. Wish you opened a bit earlier. Might be a bit rushed if we were going to the theatre although the waitress did ask if we were. Lovely waitress. Great find, great prices.

Love this quaint & unique place and I especially love Roger. He certainly is a character but a brilliant one at that. The food and staff are fab and the location is excellent situated on the Ouse. Stunning views. Highly recommend it x ❀ x

I discovered this lovely pub by accident. I asked for my usual drink of a muddy water. Had a good laugh with the bar man as he said he'd get it out of the river.

The food was delicious, the view from upstairs was amazing down the the river. Service I couldn't ask for better.

The memorabilia around the pub was fascinating.

A very welcoming pub for a young woman on her own, was made to feel comfortable straight away.

I will definitely be going back next time I'm in Kings Lynn .

Thank you for a lovely end to a perfect day. :-)

Had not been in this pub for years, went in on Saturday night just out of the blue, good meal lovely cooked and presented food, we will certainly be returning.

Group of four of us visited there again today after walking the Fen Rivers Way from St Germans. Great beer, lovely food and excellent service. What more could you ask for? If you are looking for a traditional pub with excellent real ales and good quality food then the Crown and Mitre is the place to go.

User

Fantastic proper pub. The landlord is a diamond geezer and is such an interesting and knowledgeable person. Great beer and fabulous home cooked meals. This is going to be a regular haunt.

User

Can't really add to the best of these reviews - from the big old port and starboard lights above the entrance to the upper room from which we watched the sunset over the Ouse while we ate; from the genial, wry barman ("bring your glasses back down!")(fair enough) to the impressive array of real ale, it's definitely one to return to.

User

Best boozer in town, top food too, this landlord isn’t going through the motions he has a genuine pride and passion in plying his trade.

A small group of us called in for lunch on a cold wet day whilst visiting the town. The main area is a veritable museum of nautical objects complemented with other interesting and unusual objects of interest on walls, shelves and ceilings. The light lunch we ordered, homemade soup and beautifully presented sandwiches was delicious. We all enjoyed our visit.
