Weekend break revisiting childhood haunts and catching up with family. Beautiful Thames side location in Thames Cotton with excellent facilities such as free parking and great restaurant and bar with good prices. Great staff and comfortable modern rooms. There is s lovely pub opposite and a Thames side restaurant both serving good food. Surbiton with its huge selection of pubs and restaurants is a 10 minute stroll and Kingston centre about 30 minutes walking along the river or a quick bus journey. As IHG Gold Card holder I had free WiFi and late check out of 2pm. Will use again and price averaged £112 per night.
Was a bit dubious about booking aHoliday Inn...but as it was exactly where we needed to be decided to give it a try.
It was a delightful experience from the moment we arrived.
The place is spotless and the staff amongst the best trained and pleasantest I have ever met.
The bedroom was small but beautifully and perfectly appointed and perfect for a short stay.
On arriving back at Hotel last night around 9.00 p.m. I realised I had left the "Do not disturb" on door and so room hadn't been serviced. I asked at reception if we could just have some fresh towels and when we returned to room after a nightcap in the lovely bar,we found the room and bathroom cleaned and fully serviced. Well done to Management and staff. We will be back!
The food was excellent - portions were just right and the service .....couldn't fault it! All-in-all was a very nice meal. would definitely return and would recommend.

Stayed for the weekend, for a wedding at the Hotel. The wedding itself was fantastic, with professional and friendly staff, and brilliant facilities. The hotel staff were friendly, the room was clean, free wifi and television. Perfect stay and would recommend this hotel for a wedding and would definitely stay again.
Me and my husband spent our wedding night here on Friday, the room was lovely and the staff were great my husband checked in before the ceremony and when we came back together after the reception the staff had gone out and brought us a wedding card it was a really lovely touch thank you
I use this hotel fairly regularly and the service is always of a great standard. The rooms are always clean and well presented and the staff friendly. The food is very good.
It has a lovely location on the banks of the Thames and is handy for Kingston, Surbiton and other local suburbs.
If i was going to make one comment I was disappointed that the news channels weren't available on the TV. I'm sure they have been in the past and I did ask at reception but heard nothing back. Hey ho.
From the reception to the end of the night was brilliant. The food was mouth watering delicious not to mention the desserts yummy. Thanks to the management and staff for a lovely evening x
Fantastic. The staff were more than helpful, the room was lovely. They even put our bikes in a conference room overnight and allowed us to leave the car in the car park all the following day as we were doing the London free cycle. Breakfast was very good. Praise all round.

It was a buffet style / continental breakfast, but was cold and tasteless. However over all we would return.. but hope the breakfast is better next time.

The food in the restaurant was lovely ( apart from the cold rice pudding) service was bit slow considering the restaurant wasn't busy but the food was fresh. I am a great fan of the IHG group and a Spire Elite member of the reward program but I must say your room descriptions often puzzle me. I recently stayed at the new Indigo hotel in The Hague where I was upgraded to what they called an Privilege Suite, but it appeared to be just a room with one comfortable chair. Last night the same thing happened in Kingston on Thames, we got a room called an Executive Suite but as far as I can see it was what I would call a regular room with one small comfy chair. Both rooms were nice and there were lots of extras but neither one could be called a suite! Privilege room or executive room would perhaps be correct, but not Suite! Please stop misleading your (potential) customers!
Bathroom door frosted glass, u can sit on the bed and watch someone on the loo. Complementary muni bar was a joke, one bottle of beer between two people

Regularly stay here when visiting family and was perfect till last night. but wasn't impressed this time. Checked out today after getting barely any sleep due to a works Christmas party going on directly under my room (so loud I could here every song) going on until midnight. Then the noise of drunk people carrying on in the corridors. Didn't get any sleep till 2am. Not ideal when I have over a 200 mile journey. Might look for a new hotel to use in future.
i had my daughter's birthday party on the 26/11/16 in the kingston suite...i would say it was the worst venue hall ever i have been to and the service was really bad,they didn't refill the food items and they said they have run out of food there was no sauces to go with the starters,and i asked for complementary room the marketing manager told me that i haven't spend much to get one,(i have spend £2600 for 70 people to the ref)i would expect a service to the money i have paid for, my brother did his party last year and he recommended this place to me, i wont do the same mistake recommending this place to others,

Got to the hotel room had a strong smell of smoke and someone had locked themselves in the bathroom, moved to another room by a very rude man to find we could not fit another bed in for our daughter and they wanted to move the bed from the room full of smoke into our new room! Went for food to have a steak so raw I’m surprise it didn’t start eating the grass on my plate!
They keep emptying their bottles at 5am and are continually past curfew when they have weddings, even on weekdays. If you intend to be asleep between 0045 and 5.30 am you will have trouble. The manager told me that loading and unloading noise has no restrictions so expect to be disturbed.
