Would definitely suggest this hotel to family and friends. Cannot fault the room or staff. Everyone is really helpful. The breakfast is super, plenty of choice whatever your taste. Will be coming here again. Every thing is within walking distance of the hotel.

User

What a lovely hotel!! We stayed here for the evening after the wedding awards were held here! The room was spacious and clean! The bed is massive and so soft with good quality sheets! Nice little help you to sleep touches in the room! The staff couldn’t have been more attentive and the breakfast was outstanding! We only live 1 1/2 hours away but we will defiantly be back!!!

User

We inquired if the restaurant would be serving a traditional American Thanksgiving dinner. It was not, but we were immediately asked what we wanted and were referred to the Events Manager. We were very impressed with the overall level of service, the interest in pleasing us, a customized menu that was absolutely delicious, a beautiful room set-up, and the friendly & fabulous wait staff who served us...all of this for our small group of 9. They went above & beyond.

User

This was one of the nicest hotels we've stayed in....we were told it had been refurbished about a year ago and I can say it really did tick a lot of boxes for us...we found every member of staff genuinely friendly and extremely helpful....we have already recommended this hotel to friends.

User

Stayed for a one night get away for me and my partner and I cannot say enough about the hotel it’s staff were very helpful room was lovely bed was massive we both really enjoyed our stay and the breakfast was amazing will be going back again in March. Honestly can’t say enough about our stay. The pool and sauna were nice and relaxing

User

Staff was really friendly and helpful couldn't do more for you. Sea view was nice. And the swimming pool was really good. Recommend to everyone. 10 out of 10.

User

Only stayed for the one night. Me and my girlfriend absolutely loved it. Staff were brilliant, nothing was to much trouble. 11am check out but we asked to extend it to 1pm, the girl at reception did it to 2pm for us and for no extra charge. AMAZING to say the least. Complimentary drinks for the pair of us on arrival too.

Dinner in the restaurant was fantastic and not to mention the breakfast the following day WOW!! Swimming pool, steam room, sauna....what more could anybody ask for.

Ha we even slept through the fire alarm that apparently went off around 6-7am (no fire)

10/10 stay. Just wow. Definitely recommend and we will be staying again.

User

My husband and I stayed for one night as we were going to Watch the jersey Boys. The hotel was amazing most comfortable bed beautiful view over the hoe. Lovely breakfast room and very good food. We will deafinatly be coming back, Excellent.

User

Me and my boys absolutely loved our stay here. The staff were amazing, food was fabulous and the room was perfect Also, we left one of our bags behind and the staff wrapped it up and sent it home to us

User

Lovely place to visit, although we live on the outskirts of Plymouth when we visit Plymouth we always pop in whether it's just for a coffee or a wine or a light lunch.

We are always made welcome by the staff who are there. There's always relaxed atmosphere when ever we visit. Love to recommend to friends and family.

Keep up the good work .

User

I haven’t stayed so I can’t comment. However I recently ate here with a very large group of ladies. I emailed to ask for a vegan meal and the chefs did themselves proud!! Really tasty tagine followed by delicious and beautifully presented chocolate mouse quenelles with fresh pineapple and raspberries. Great meal and service

User

Great stay and I liked the attention to detail. Staff were friendly. Bed was massive and so was the room. The hotel and room were clean and tidy. Breakfast was yummy and a great selection. I enjoyed two good swims during my overnight stay and will be sure to come again.

My only grumbles would be the bath was a little tight to get into as the shower door was half fixed to the bath and the time on the tv was too bright during the night.

User

As a gold card holder you have a courtesy call if you are happy with your room. Staff are great & the restaurant beautiful view & great food.

User

Absolutely amazing ! Stayed here last weekend, rooms lovely , view stunning , bed was huge and so comfy , lovely friendly staff and amazing views from the penthouse restaurant! Will definitely stay again

User

The hotel was good but was disappointed when we ate in the steakhouse beautifully cooked fillet steak but served with I’m sure frozen chips!

User

Lovely hotel. Welcoming and helpful staff.

Bedroom wasn’t ready no trouble we could swim in the pleasant indoor pool, sauna and steam room also.

Bedroom wasn’t prepared correctly for four of us but the errors were soon corrected and no time delay. Well worth a stay. Breakfast was fab according to my children.

User

Disappointed with our stay this weekend compared to previous visits. Just a one night stay but the room wasn’t ready even when we were given the key and the house keeping team were under stress and so made mistakes. The shower was blocked and flooded the room and if the cleaning staff weren’t in such a rush they would have noticed the wet towels and reported the problem. Other wise not a bad stay

User

3 yrs ago I wrote a damning report on the then Holiday Inn, but since it has been taken over and re-named the Crown Plaza.

The money invested and the transformation is amazing, first impressions always count, and what an impression I got this weekend, the reception has been opened up to allow a lounge area which is very large, the receptionist named Ellie was very welcoming and explained the hotel lay out since it had changed, when I arrived at my room, and I was again taken aback as the rooms have all had an upgrade, and was very pleasing to the eye, the bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows, the room was very light and one thing that I noticed was a large mirror above the writing desk and also a light which my wife was very happy about as she could sit down to do her make-up(this is very important for a woman).

The bathroom was well lit with a bath and shower and again plenty of towels, having now experienced the new Hotel I will be staying there again

User

This was a 3 night get away stay for my partner and I post Christmas. Arrived to a full car park and the receptionist telling me that I would have to sort my own parking out, I'm not from Plymouth so perhaps a little help would have been good. Checking in was uneventful with the receptionist more concerned with flogging us breakfast deals than anything else. Room is a great size with a great bed but no mirror for my partner to do her hair and makeup. She had to sit with the wardrobe door open on the office chair. Bathroom is very small with problems getting in and out of the shower. The mini bar fridge didn't work throughout our stay despite being reported twice. I'm not a moaner but just felt there was a lack of attention to detail. I would stay here for work but there are some better b&bs around if I was to come as a couple again. I believe this is a hotel that is dinning out on its location rather than really looking after its guests.
