Lovely caravan park, in the middle of Filey and Scarborough. Sadly, as is advertised, much of the on park convenience is closed at this time of the year (October) meaning we didn't get the chance to use the pool or bar, but for the price this didn't matter to much as we went to Bridlington for the day and used the local splash zone. Park is very quiet, dog friendly and has a nice kids park. On the whole it was a lovely stay and we would use this park again.

We absolutely loved it. We were in the overflow field ( it was a bank holiday weekend )even tho the place was very busy, pitches had plenty of space, all have stunning views for miles around. Very friendly site, most people we spoke to had been before on numerous occasions. The site was very well maintained, extremely clean and tidy, the washrooms, showers and pot washing areas were always spotless, the bins were emptied regularly so no issues with them overflowing as were the porterloos ( these were in the overflow field, toilets were built in everywhere else on the site ) the fish and chip shop on site was absolutely delicious and a very fair price. The site shop was very well stocked and very reasonably priced with anything you could possibly need including a great selection of camping alliances and accessories, this was a bit help. There was a magical show on one night we were there, which was a lot of fun. The bars were fairly priced, although we didn't really use either much. The swimming pool was a great little pool with three little slides and also very clean and tidy with lifeguards. The site is nearer Filey than Scarborough, both are a short drive. You could probably walk to Filey as the cliffs at Filey were clearly visible, we didn't as we were a group including very young children. Overall 10 out of 10 in all areas for us and we look forward to many more trips in the future.

A good site in a good location, only 6 miles from Scarborough. The caravan we rented was clean and had all the basics that you need. Good shop and bar on site with live entertainment nearly every night. The pool was small but good for younger ones as it had a few slides and there was also a decent play area and access to the coast path. The onsite chip shop was really good with some of the best chips I have ever had

The site is very large. The toilet and shower facilities are modern and cleaned at least twice a day, although between times they did seem to get into a bit of a state.
The site seemed very crowded. The electric hookup facilities for tents meant that people were forced to repeatedly pitch their tents in the same place which meant that the pitch was very muddy and slightly smelling of decomposing grass. (See photo).
The caravan facilities looked good.
The brochure describes a "scramble path down the cliffs" to the bay beneath. It's not the sort of path that you'd take children down unless they happen to have been brought up in the foothills of Everest - it's exceedingly steep and slippery.
The beaches of Filey and Cayton Bay are only 5-10 minutes drive away.

Family friendly. Clean toilet blocks. Decent showers with changing cubicle. Well stocked and reasonably priced shop. Nice pool. Bar is family friendly with regular live performances, also they take card for any payment. Brilliant views of sea and Scarborough.

Very busy when i went. Too many allowed to camp and a lot of inexperienced thoughtless campers. Site was nice tho. Clean. Shop was reasonable and decent chippy on site. No real ale in the bar. Will go back just not in school holidays.

Great fun for all, the kids kids are enjoying every minuet playing on the new park and meeting new friends
The pool is great for all, toilet and shower facilities are clean and well maintained.
The laundry is very handy having four children but can be expensive.
All in all another year, another great experience.
We will be booking again in October for next year.

Very nice views and generally a nice park with modern facilities and a good sized play park for the kids.
The top field we stayed in was very over crowed with people singing and playing music up until 11.30pm.
Whilst the views are great in all directions from the top field you are completely open to the elements. Gale force winds (amber weather warning) set in around 1am which became so bad that we all slept in the car.
Some people left in the night and in the morning you could see why - tents very badly damaged. Ours requires various new poles and some stitching, many tents were thrown away on site. Quite gutted as we were on a two family two night break that just turned into a complete disaster and had to be cut short.

You are exposed to the elements and it can be very windy. Witnessed lots of broken tents. Pool too small and cold, young lads playing with a leather football ball within the pool not caring about youngsters trying play...young lifeguard staff not interested in enforcing discipline. A minority of the campers are just plain dirty and don't clean the toilets/basins or showers after use. My dogs are more hygienic! However the on site shop is well stocked and affordable and the on site chippy is really nice..the fryer could smile a bit more because he's a little grumpy. Ideal location for visiting nearby attractions.
