This group of early morning relic hunters searched Ramases’ tomb and uncovered and retrieved all three ancient relics! They provided much hilarity on the journey too!

On an expedition to an unknown tomb, these wonderful explorers were the cream of the crop escaped with two treasures. Nice! 👍

With two relics they escaped but it was a very close call. Excellent work! 👍

Two tomb raiders snuck into Rameseize and uncovered treasures of the past. They were fast and worked incredibly well together and we hope they enjoyed the rest of their day too. 👏👏

This family of relic hunters did an excellent job of finding the list treasures of Rameseize. Leaving with two out of three and a good time they really showed us how it was done. 👍

Six incredible relic hunters came a searching for the three sacred treasures in Rameseize. They were skilled and grabbed two of them with ease but unfortunately the sands of time were relentless and despite being moments away from grabbing the Ankh they had to run.

Went with a group of friends to escape from the crypt room. We all really enjoyed it and managed to escape just in time (with a little help from the very friendly staff) would definitely recommend and will be trying the other room soon �

Went for my birthday with 5 friends, it was tougher than I thought but great fun. Really good laugh encouraging us to work together, as others have said time just goes so fast. Definitely want to do the other room.

Went for a stag do and had a great time! Lots to do even with a full group to keep everyone challenged

We had a brilliant time yesterday afternoon in the cypherdene room and just made it with seconds to spare!! we're still talking about it now !! Really recommend it

We did both Cypherdene & The Crypt today as a 2 player team.

Cypherdene seems like the perfect first escape room for people who aren’t sure about being shut in as it’s light, bright & airy- very different to your traditional escape room. The premise is simple, you’ve gone for a job interview & you have to complete a set of tasks & solve a particular problem to get the job...only completing that quest is not quite so simple! It’s a fun mix of searching, mind puzzles & doing things. None of them are ridiculously over complicated & there are props on hand to help at each stage, with a little bit of drama & tension thrown in to make it a fun & exciting experience- a 9/10 score for the room from us. Great for beginners & more experienced escapers alike, we thoroughly enjoyed this room & therefore had high expectations when we went straight on to do The Crypt...

We were definitely not disappointed! The theming in this room is really strong, they’ve obviously gone to good lengths to build the props & scenery and the atmosphere & feel of the game are spot on for the scenario. We left no stone unturned & really enjoyed the slightly more physical nature of a couple of the puzzles in this room. There were still some mental puzzles as well as the physical challenges & whereas Cypherdene is a largely ordinary setting with a few great flourishes The Crypt was clearly built from scratch- & extremely effectively. Think of a combination of mental & physical games in the Aztec zone of Crystal Maze & you won’t be far wrong with The Crypt. This room gets 10/10 from us & we got a lovely little certificate for completing each game.

Games Master Sam was exactly the right combination of enthusiastic without being over the top and gave us enough hints to keep us moving without making it too easy for us. Nice one Sam!

Cryptology are about to move premises & create a new Egyptian themed room at the new place- we WILL be back to try it out because as a company they seem to have got it just right, this is how you do good fun escape rooms.

This was the first time I've done an escape room, and it definitely won't be the last. We all had a fantastic time in the Rameseize room and even though we didn't get all 3 relics, we did escape. Sam, who ran the room, was a brilliant host, very friendly and professional, he really brought the room to life. I would definitely recommend Cryptology Nottingham to anybody looking for something fun to do.

The second Escape room I’ve been to and a definite step up in effort and quality. We went in to The Crypt room which was very well decorated and thought out. The puzzles were good and challenging enough to get your brain going without being stuck on the same one for the majority of the time. There was enough going on for all 7 people to get involved.

So much fun! Not bad as a first experience in an escape room :) We didn't make it but we were so close! Friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely recommend!

One of the most fun and entertaining things to do in the city. Staff were absolutely brilliant and made the experience even better. Theming is incredible and we can't wait to go back and do the other room. A must do if you're in Nottingham.

My Maid of Honour surprised me with a trip here for my hen do today and I absolutely loved it! Lovely staff, great puzzles to solve and an amazing experience! Would definitely highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fun way to spend an hour down Nottingham. Brilliant! Thank you �

Managed to get out of the crypt with about four minutes to spare. The hour goes so fast and it's just so much fun. There are loads of puzzles to get your head round and you really have to work as a team. Haven't had that much fun on a day out in ages! Would recommend to everyone! We will be back to take on the other challenge!

I didn't experience the Escape Room myself, however I booked this with just hours notice and they were able to fit my family in for my brother's birthday with no complications at all!



Their reaction when they left was priceless with nothing but positive words about their session. Definitely hoping to return soon!

Great way to spend a hour in Nottingham! We did the Crypt room (team of 4 people), which had the right mix of fun & really making your mind work! We managed to escape with just 3 mins to spare!!! Very well thought out! Highly recommended! ��

Got out of the crypt with 5 mins to spare. Most fun we've had in an hour. The host was very good and set the scene well. The hour went too fast though. Definitely want to do the other room.

Brilliant Time in the Ramesize escape room. Got 2 relics and so close to 3rd. Great puzzles and great friendly staff. Defo doing again.

Booked the hardest room having never done it before and it was brilliant. Total blast couldn't rate highly enough. Cracking hosts too. :D
