How to choose guardians for your minor children?
In the event of both parents dying, the children could face the discomfort, uncertainty and emotional trauma of being separated from the rest of the family and going in to care.
As a responsible parent or guardian, it is your responsibility to put a plan in place to ensure that in the event of such eventuality, your children are taken care of by the best person.
... As well considering how able or willing your potential guardian is, here are some brief points to consider when choosing a guardian for your minor children.
1) The age of the Guardian It is important to consider the age of the potential guardian. An older guardian may have the parenting experience but they may fall ill or die before the minor is an adult such as a grandparent. A younger guardian may be more in touch with the educational and social needs; however it's important to consider their aspirations, career demands and family dynamics.
2) The location of the Guardian If your potential guardian is living in another city or country, they may be reluctant to move or you may not like your minor to relocate. Changing a location can sometimes be a lot for a minor when they are just dealing with a close bereavement.
3) The financial standing of the guardian The financial standing of your potential guardian can affect the lifestyle of your children. Even if you have the funds available to fund your minor children's education and maintenance you may want to think about how good your guardian is with managing their own finance, job situation, income and expenditure.
4) The family situation of the guardian Is the potential guardian married with children, single parent, if so how old are the children in comparison to yours? What kind of relationship if any do your children share with their children? Will they have the space to accommodate your children as well as their own?
5) Your guardians religious, political and moral beliefs Do they have similar views as you? If they have different views, how will these influence your children?

We can prepare your FAMILY TRUST
Trusts have been used by families for centuries and while there are many different types available for different purposes, they are all primarily designed for the long-term protection of assets.
A trust is the formal transfer of assets (it might be property, shares or just cash) to a small group of people or to a trust company with instructions that they hold the assets for the benefit of others. This creates a legal barrier between your as...sets and anyone other than you chosen beneficiaries.
By creating a Trust you can determine
Who benefits When and, How
You can impose restrictions, conditions and time frame within the Trust which allows you to determine who, how and when the legacy is passed.
