The Food Bank is the first line of emergency food support for families and individuals facing crisis. We are the towns main charitable food hub and the most accessible food bank in Halifax serving families, individuals and organisations. We rely solely on the generous support of the community. Together, we fight hunger and its root causes because no one should go hungry. - Individual Food Bank: Saturday 10am - 12pm- Family Food Bank: Friday 10am - 12pmThe Homeless Shelter prevent clients from rough sleeping until their longer term solution is resolved. One night at a time, they are offered a place of safety with a room of their own, transport, meals, basic essential supplies, washing facilities and support to their next step. (Currently running 24 /7 as part of the COVID-19 response). Banqueting Table Free Café is currently a take away service. We are providing hot food to anyone who needs it on Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays 12. 30pm - 1. 30pm.
