This is so very beautiful. The craftsmanship is just outstanding!
Lovely Helen Walsh, aka Delicate Stitches, came to teach a workshop called Plastic Fantastic at our meeting on Saturday 25th January. Members had fetched their recycling bags to ratch through for all sorts of lovely colourful plastic to make into something new. Lots of melting and burning went on, then some stitching to add extra interest. Some even knitted and crotcheted strips of plastic to form new fabrics.......thanks to Helen for lots of fun and inspiration and for fetching all sorts of samples, including her crown 😊
Something to look forward to on the telly!
The most important thing is to have a go, you might just surprise yourself!
Having had Nikki speaking to us about her work, I thought you’d all love to see this
Lots of inspiration here
Some beautiful colour, texture and stitch from Amanda Hislop. Practicing daily stitch - what a delightful result
