We stay at this hotel everytime we are staying overnight in Carlisle....easy walking distance to the Sands and shops...plus it's free parking at the Hotel which is a bonus.....recently reception and dining area had a make over and looking lovely...we have never had any problems with the room we have booked...and we are just home from an overnight stay..we booked a classic room but on arrival were allocated an upgrade to a superior rooms..what more could you ask for...already booked again for February....keep up the good work...

User

Stayed here with my partner tuesday & wednesday night. Location of the hotel is in a ideal place 15 min walk to centre. Superb staff. Excellent price for the double room we had. Very clean. Lounge area is great to relax with a beer or 2. Will deffo be back.

User

Stayed for a one night stay lovely hotel staff were very friendly. Room was nice and clean bed comfy but the noise from the traffic kept me awake as we had a room on the main road. It was nice there was a bar to have a drink so we wouldn't have to stay in the room. Breakfast was very nice and filled you for the day. Would stay again if ever in Carlisle and would recommend to people.

User

Lovely hotel. Room clean modern and well presented.

Restaurant serves good food and the bar good beer.

Staff are very friendly and approachable.

Thanks.

Staying for another couple of days which I am looking forward to, even though I am working.

User

Last minute decision for stay away new year celebration. Great price, great place and very attentive staff. Clean, and spacious twin room. En-suite, very clean. Georgie and Carla were very helpful, and brunch new years day was complimentary for everyone. Thankyou The Cumbria Park Hotel, look forward to seeing you again

User

I booked in here on 9th March and I LOVE it.

Carla on reception is so nice and helpful.

Noble in the bar is a star!

I'm on a mobility scooter and getting me in and out of my room and into the dining room has been made easy thanks to Noble and the other staff.

My bed is extremely comfortable.

The food is delicious.

Everyone is so friendly and helpful.

First-class service all round.

I would definitely recommend Cumbria Park Hotel to my friends and family.

Well done to all the staff.

User

Had our Xmas dinner here yesterday. From beginning to end we were treated lovely. The waiting on staff were brilliant so attentive. The meal was delicious couldn’t fault it the whole party loved it.We weren’t rushed .The day was thoroughly enjoyed by us all.Massive thanks to all the staff & chefs ! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

User

We stayed here last night and have done a few times before. Have never had any complaints. Staff very friendly and everything very clean. New decor in bar area is lovely though I'm also guessing there is some finishing touches still to be done. We didn't have evening meal in hotel but we thoroughly enjoyed cooked breakfast. Only niggle was no side plate on table and couldn't find any. All in all we would recommend hotel and we will definitely return.

User

Stayed here many times, if I'm working in Carlisle I don't even look at any other hotels. Staff are spot on, food is good quality for the price, rooms vary a little but to be expected as they range from standard to executive. I've never had any serious issues and will stay there again

User

Stayed here for 3 nights on room only basis. Booked a superior room but were upgraded to executive room free. Nice room very clean and comfortable bed, although did get quite warm but there was a fan in room. Only thing there was a small skylight and we were wakened early with the light coming in. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would do again if in Carlisle. Would recommend.

User

Staff were lovely and super helpful. Room was dated but really comfy and had everything we needed. Just one complaint, the breakfast!! Not nice. Awful omelette for me and my friends full breakfast was pretty poor. Would stay again but eat elsewhere x

User

Just back from a night in the hotel we were down for a night at the races the staff in the hotel were fantastic could not do enough for us .we would definelty use your hotel again

User

Great stop over on our way up to Scotland - very friendly staff and hotel in an ideal location with parking. Only knocked a star off as rooms a bit dated and shower poor! Will be back :)

User

Staff were excellent, couldn't do enough for us. Outstanding staff, particularly the restaurant and the bar. Glen was ace. Room was tired, shower was either scalding hot or freezing. Food was average but I would definitely stop there again. Public areas were fantastic. Apart from the food we enjoyed our experience. Sorry for some of the negative comments.

User

A lovely hotel with very helpful staff, it was just a bit noisey as the windows are old and drafty and as we was at the front on the main road all we could hear was the traffic.

User

1st visit to hotel, perfect location for Sands Centre which is where we were visiting. Rooms clean and comfortable (although double bed when used to kingsize a bit cozy 😂-same in most hotels) maybe a little dated!Greatly priced, staff more than helpful and attentive. Would definately stay here again

User

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

The hotel itself looked amazing So modern but up to date.

So to start with waited approx 5 minutes to check in as no one on reception. I assume they were smoking or something Eventually got key to room. Walked into room and thought wow. But on closer inspection not good. The bed had 3 hairs on it even though it looked clean Plus when you sat on it it creaked. Went into bathroom. There was a hair in shower and a used bottle of body wash in it. There was a poo stain in toilet and the towels smelt and felt damp.

When i unpacked my case there was crumbs in drawer. Housekeepers don’t care. The following night I went back and the towels were wet and the same hair was still in shower I put towels on floor to be changed

As for rest of hotel the service was ok but the food was not that good. Breakfast was ok but needed to be warm at least.

After breakfast went back to room and could hear what i assume to be housekeepers laughing outside. They were disgusting I’ve not heard talk or language like it.

For a hotel this place is a joke for the price. They need to sort staff out. Yes laugh and have a joke (swear if you need to. But remember there could be children stayin) I will never stay again and will inform colleagues and my boss that this place is a no no

User

This hotel is a shambles, firstly the rooms are vile, if you like wood chip wallpaper then you might enjoy staying here, when we went into the room we noticed a crack on the bathroom door, never thought much of it as the place was a dive, bathroom tiles painter a yellow colour to try hide how dated they are, hand sanitiser that you would get in a public toilet attached to the wall next to shower...you get my drift, we thought right, we are here for 1 night, came in around 11, we and I hold me hands up had a small argument over fish and chips . When we went to check out the next morning we were told someone had complained about the noise...we admitted we had a heated argument and tried our best not to show our embarrassment in front of the guests behind us, we have now had a £100 taken from our bank, manager called my husband and basically gave him a tirade of abuse!! We are now getting the blame for the crack on the bathroom door!!
