Cumbria Search was born during the global COVID-19 pandemic as despite the UK facing an economic downturn, many essential companies continued to operate and many continued recruiting. Through market research it became very apparent that majority of the existing job boards contain a lot of ‘noise', mainly from big multinational companies who simply select any area to promote their vacancies (with many actually turning out to be scams). As we are very passionate about the Cumbrian employment market, especially now, we wanted to create something with the aim of protecting it and to hopefully attract more talent into the area. In a nutshell, Cumbria Search is an easy, user friendly platform which allows job seekers to create their personalised CV profiles to easily apply for jobs and local employers to advertise their vacancies at a fraction of the cost of our main competitors.
