NEW OPENING HOURS as from tomorrow(thur 26th): Tuesday to Saturday 9 till 5pm, Sunday 9 till 4pm. Yesterday was challenging! Thank you for bearing with us! Who knew that preparing deliveries was going to be that hard! We had to close the shop for a bit during the day in order to deal with products coming in and preparing orders in a safe way, thank you for bearing with us while we regrouped ( good job it wasn’t raining 😂). In order to continue to do so we have decided to allow ourselves time in the shop alone to reduce the traffic and maintain a safe environment. Thank you all

We received a lot of stock today (Monday 23rd), including: washing up liquid, laundry liquid, fabric conditioner, hand soap, coffee, pasta, oat, flour, milk, rice, pulses. Cheese arriving Wednesday @lafromagerieuk . Fresh bread and pastries everyday from @wildgoosebakery We will carry on updating you on this platform. If you’re planning to come to the shop: We are still operating with a reduced amount of customer in the shop. 4 people allowed in has proved last week to keep our team safe and on the top of our cleaning routine. Please do carry on checking through the door before stepping in, we really appreciate your awareness. Collecting orders: Please place your order at info@cupsandjars.uk before 2pm for a same day delivery. We will try our best to match it accordingly to availabilities. Please remember to leave a phone number so we can call you when your order is ready for collection. Home delivery: Please place your order at info@cupsandjars.uk before 12noon for a same day delivery. Deliveries will be made from 2pm onwards to Forest Gate E7 only. We will be open tomorrow as usual. Today, we have started to limit the number of people in the shop to 4 to implement social distancing. Please do respect it, do not come at the desk while someone else is there. We aim to stay open as long as we can and we need to protect our team to do so. We are running low on a few products, still got a good amount of hand sanitiser, pasta, flour and plenty dry foods & fruit&veg but completely ...out of eggs until next week. Lovely people, we’ve now closed our garden and so only doing coffee take away from now. We’re still doing sandwiches, got few portions of soup but are now done with salad until further notice. You know how important hygiene is at C&Js, we however have taken extra precautions, as advised by the government, to prevent the spread of Covid-19. - We kindly ask every customer to wash & sanitise their hands before starting to refill. - Please use hand sanitiser before adding sugar and lead to your take away coffee. We are unfortunately unable to accept reusable coffee cups for now. - We are temporarily stopping jars donation and kindly requesting to only use your own ones. - We are sanitising through the shop throughout the day. Surfaces, dispensaries handles, scoops, door handles... everything!😊 - We would prefer card payment but will still accept cash for those who haven’t come prepared. - We are working on further measures for the coming weeks to keep C&Js a safe place to shop and socialise. - even though soapy water is the most efficient method to clean your hands, sanitiser is also a good option to prevent contamination, therefore we have started to offer hand gel on refill.
Thank you to everyone for staying calm in the shop. There is no need to panic buy at C&Js. We are fully stocked and more toilet paper on the way!😋
