This is my favourite place to eat in the totally relaxed surroundings. But please please have more kitchen staff on Saturdays. Staff were apologetic about the big delay in waiting for food. My daughter was feeling nausea waiting so long but did Polish every scrap of the quality food put in front of her.

I was visiting for a few hours . Recommend to eat lunch here. Delicious... had poached eggs and hollandaise sauce and mushrooms. My soon is very funny with food and and order food in a particular way came exactly as I asked. Very wheelchair friendly lots space for him. Good access to disabled toilet. Shame I don't like in Stroud. Would visit every weekend. Excellent service. Decor wonderful staff very helpful. 5 star ...

Fantastic Stroud gem. Whilst the entrance looks a bit like a down at heel pub step inside to an Aladdin's cave of quirky but stylish decor. Downstairs is a bit dark but upstairs there is a spacious bright and light dining room.



We ate a delicious early supper for 4 adults and 4 children (11 and 12yrs) with drinks a bottle of wine. Chicken, bacon and avocado burgers, house slaw, pesto pasta and garlic bread, sweet potato fries were amongst the delights. Best of all was the bill. At £100 great value for money.

Can I say well done you done amazing today my mum and myself and my 2 kids came for lunch today even thou you had a Massive party with Ecotricity Christmas do up stairs your staff down stairs were amazing our food wasn't to long and you seem to have everything under control...so well done ...�

Been here on many occasions with my parents and son. Lovely place with good food and service. Love the tasty tapas

Very nice atmosphere and lovely food but I'm lazy and would like to be served at the table, especially as there was always a queue at the bar with one bar staff taking orders and also had to go up and down the stairs every time I wanted a drink. But was a good night.

Had buttermilk pancakes with maple syrup and bacon and it was absolutely delicious. However my son had a lounge breakfast and was disappointed that there was no sausage and in its place was a sausage patty which he didn't like. Maybe as a suggestion a normal sausage with a fry up would be better

Lovely decor, tasty food but would like to see larger portion salad, kids menu could be a bit less processed and a bit more wholesome - homemade spaghetti bolognaise, lasagne, farm sausages etc - small changes but would make a big difference

I like the venue and the food was great, but as always seems to be the case, there are not enough bar staff serving customers. Every time I went to order food or drinks, there was either just one or sometimes 2 bar staff, meaning waiting in a queue for a fair while. At one point there must have been 5 or 6 people queuing and just one person serving. Not good enough in my opinion.

Why can't they have a counter to order food upstairs. If you got little kids with you - you can't leave them upstairs to go down to order!

The place was dirty and smelly.

The waiter looks unclean and hang over - gave me a dirty set of cup saucer. Spilled my milk jug on table didn't even offer to wipe it down. Asked if we can get a take away cup for hot drinks - waiter didn't make effort to help but instead told us to go down (again) and get it ourselves at the counter. we then found out they don't Do take away cups. It was a disaster!

Only reason for the second star is because of the barman, very professional. The rest, POOR. Food was bang average, not sure our waiter knew he was at work.... After waiting 35 mins at an uncleared table for an ice cream sundae. It was brought over and served next to our main course plates and not cleared. I could go on about how angry I am but not worth my time. Wont be back, train the waiters

Had a feeling most staff members had rang in sick today ! Went for brunch with visiting family and after waiting at bar behind 4 others,for 10 mins we had no choice but to walk out ! Felt sorry for poor girl on the bar alone also delivering drinks to tables ! Ridiculous! Management need to step up �

Food was alright. Palaver to get it was ridiculous! Over half an hour after we were told we would get food it eventually arrived. We spent 20 minutes at the bar trying to get drinks. Told we had to pay at the bar for all the food. We have waited half hour to pay for this!! Then to be told they didn't have the meal tabs on the bar and had to go get a manager to sort this. Staff seem miserable and aren't rushing to get to people even though there's a lot of people waiting. The bigger groups seem to be looked after better. We were a group of eight. Won't be coming here again for food! Not worth the money or the service they give.

Finding it getting worse! On the last few plus occasions food not been great! Cold at times! Been taken back as not been happy. No special which would be nice as menu choice isn't fab. Service can be slow at times even thou it's not been busy. As for cocktails I was told "we haven't got that one" 3 times. So for me I'm happy to eat elsewhere now! Shame as it started well when opened but going down hill since

Very poor . Lots of items missing from menu on a busy Saturday night. We had to go to the bar 4 times with changed food orders. What we got was poor, small and very over priced. A real shame . Used to be very good.

The service is just really poor. The food is average but coupled with awkward service and lack of warmth from the staff, it is such a shame. The decor is fantastic and the gluten free menu is quite leading in breadth of choice.

Steep stairs as the tables on the gf were all taken. Had to go down to order and carry up drinks in heels. Ordered at the same time as our friends and their food came 20 minutes before ours which should not happen and they were being polite waiting to eat for ours to arrive so their food was cold! Not impressed and will Not be returning.

Poor service! Only 2 people manning tills taking orders/serving drinks. 40 min wait for food and when it did come out the lady serving it didnt have a clue what food was what- not very good when having ordered from gluten free menu as well as normal menu. Thought was very over priced for the small amount you actually get. Dont think il be coming back in a hurry.

Had nothing but poor experiences in this overpriced dungpile

. Firstly went here for some food with the family a month or so ago and was told I couldn't have a panini without pesto on because the chef refused.



Then Went here for a burger with the family this weekend. After other people's food was bought to our table multiple times I finally received my burger that tasted like chemicals and dish water. Credit to the guy who served us who was very apologetic and offered us free food, but I don't think I'll bother again.
