Since taking over in December 1999, Shykul and his brother Shane have truly transformed "The Curry Mahal" into the The Jewel Of Hove. Following their recent extension and refurbishment the restaurant has been described as a palatial place to dine.

All food is prepared fresh daily on the premises, using only the finest ingredients by the brothers master chef Abdul and Shykul (himself a master chef). Shykul learnt his cooking skills from his father, one of Brighton's first Indian Restaurant Chefs and his customer care skills from working as cabin crew with the world's favourite airline.

Being the leading Indian Restaurant in the city, The Curry Mahal has full disabled facilities, separate party rooms and a well stocked wine and beer store.

We have full disabled facilities and we can cater for large parties. We are dedicated to satisfy our consumers who want to enjoy high-quality meals at home but don't have the time to cook. We offer takeout meals that diners can eat at their own dining-room tables. The bar is populated from an array of wines, beers and liqueurs from around the globe
