Why is it so hard to buy something in store these days? Ordered a 4K TV to collect and I absolutely REFUSE to be bullied into buying extras. When you say no thankyou and they go to their manager to get other offers not once, but twice it becomes very uncomfortable. All I wanted was to get out of work, collect my TV and get home. Not impressed and I completely understand why stores like this are not being used as their staff get rail roaded for more sales. If you can, just order off Amazon. Much simpler. Fed up customer.

When asked if we have any special delivery requirements I advised that as we live in a very narrow lane a small delivery vehicle is required. Twice they have turned up in a lorry that is too big to access our property. A reschedule of the delivery is now required, so not only are we without a washing machine, I have to arrange more time off work. Why ask about delivery and put it on the form if no one takes any notice. Pointless.

Went in to buy gaming headphones £109.00 down to £79.00 got to till £99.99 so went back got the ticket off the shelf and got my refund by the girl who wanted to help before I made the purchase.

I also needed two 80mm case fans so she sent me to the next counter as she had no idea what I was wanting.

The lad at the next counter said over there near PCs when you get there ask someone closer!!!!

Why do you think I made my way over to you useless ba****ds in the first place?

Found someone no we only have these ......... But here's a card you can order them from us online call their number.

The only reason I see company's like this surviving in 2015 with the threat of online shopping looming is that they rip people off for the convenience.

This how the story went



We first purchase a new cooker From Currys in Aylesford. They didn’t have one in stock so ordered one to be delivered.

We didn’t open it straight away as we were waiting for the electrician to arrange a date for connecting us.

Upon the electricians arrival we discovered that it was not as specified with retractable nobs.

We contacted Currys and after they investigated they told us that it had been advertised wrong.

We decided to change the cooker.

We then had to return to the store to sort out the paperwork, but because I didn’t have the serial number (they did not tell us we would need this when we phoned) we had to return the next day

so they could arrange a pick up and until the pickup men gave a pick up number we couldn’t proceed to get another one to replace it.

We then had to visit the Store again more confusion because the cooker we wanted could only be ordered on line after much discussion they

Decided they would order the cooker from the store.

New cooker arrived left safely wrapped up awaiting the day that the electrician could wire it up.

Disaster, power was supplied to the cooker It doesn’t work says the electrician.

Several hours later after being passed from one department to another we have to wait 4 days for an engineer to tell us it doesn’t work.

He will then tell the relevant department so a pickup will be arranged then we get a number then we can order another one and await another delivery and book in another appointment with the electrician

With a bit of luck we will only be without a cooker for another 3 to 4 weeks.

Their policy wouldn’t repair my iPad even though I pay monthly for it and then their customer services hang up on u so angry!!!

One thing after another with this shop!!! There goes my morning delivery slot... nooo it's arriving at 2 and 6pm when I'm not going to be here. Worst service from start to finish ���

I have been waiting for a delivery. Not one but TWO no shows. I have posted on their page, three days before I had a response asking for my ref no. Now FIVE HOURS LATER ANS STILL NO RESPONSE. DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE.

DON'T BUY FROM CURRIES PC WORLD if you need it deliverd! Sold me a £750 fridge freezer and I told them I live on the 1st floor this wasn't a problem said the sales woman she said she will put it on the delivery note... I got a tx from the sister company knowhow saying they will be with me between 1:45 pm and 17:45 they turned up at 12pm which was fine when I answers the door the deliver didn't greet me just said " forget it mate" which I replied "sorry" he then said he would not deliver up more than 5 steps I said on his notes it says it's in the first floor he said he didn't care and I have 2 options either he leaves it on the street for me to sort out or I go back to the store and get a smaller fridge. ... As I was deciding what I wanted to do they turned around and started walking away as I started talking to them they ignored me carried on walking got in the van and left, I can safely say it's the worst and rudest customer service I have ever experienced in my life. When I went in to the store they said unfortunately they reserve the right to not deliver which I replied why was I not made aware of this before or at the point of sale? As I could have told them the first floor is up more than 5 steps and I wouldn't have made the purchase! They just said nothing they can do they can refund me or reschedule delivery ( and have the same problem again). It's a complete joke! Company as big as they are can't sort it out! I purposely didn't buy online as I prefer speaking to someone and having the element if customer service however past the point of sale this is non existent! I can safely say I will never be purchasing anything again through curries PC world unless I'm made to feel a lot better about this situation. I would strongly urge anyone to stay clear and not be subjected to the same "service" I have received.

DO NOT SHOP IN THIS STORE!!! Ordered a SoundLink 2 Wireless Bluetooth Headphones online, went to collect it in store and was told that the item is missing!!!! The member of staff didn't care. Called customer service and I was told that the headphones were delivered in store on the 13th December, now they are missing?? No explanation as to where they were, they wouldn't issue me a refund. Taking this further....

Bought a microwave from here today, not a cheap one either. We needed it to do 1 specific thing. We asked an employee if it did (it was about time adjusting) he very confidently advised us that you could adjust it to our requirements....guess what - it doesn't adjust. Perhaps staff training?? Or getting them to find out if they are unsure of the answer instead of guessing! Will be returning.

All i wanted to do was buy two laptops on a debit card at Currys in a Aylesford. It has taken over an hour and the position is. They have taken my money. Cant give me the laptops. Cant refund the money. I have now walked out nearly £1000 poorer with no laptops. So unless i get a call today saying they have refunded the money there will be trouble!

Absolutely disgusted ... over £340 for fridge freezer, never turned up on delivery date, following day it arrived DAMAGED and to be assured it will arrive between 9-1pm today and what a surprise NO FRIDGE FREEZER DELIVERED, appealed at customer service if that’s what you call it!!! Over 4 hours on the phone trying to sort this mess out, along with the black oils stains on my carpet!!! Not a single phone call back (which I was told I would be called within 48hours) TERRIBLE service and very disappointed customer
