Brilliant store. Great team. They work very hard through Xmas and new year. I visited on Boxing Day found everything I wanted loads of great offers on branded tv's but for me it's all about the coffee machines. Thank you.

Went to buy a Samson fridge freezer model no RB38J7635 which we looked at on the 4th Nov at £849.99 plus a £50 off offer. Today’s price was £999.99. An increase of about £150 or £200 if you include the offer in 3 weeks. The member of staff that we spoke to was not interested or helpful, only comment for the actual same unit was that it had gone up. We walked out and will now go to John Lewis.

The customer service is by far the worst and most negative sales pitch EVER!!!!! bought my laptop from another supplier who actually showed me the postive side of my laptop will not be entering this store again

I have a washer that dosent wash clothes properly anything you can do really need a decent washer this washer wasnt the cheapest

Hi everyone I went to curry’s Preston on the 2/07 paid fully for a washing machine to then be told once I’ve paid off card for it their maybe abit of await for delivery so by then I had paid so I said it was ok then it only arrived on the 9/07/18 I was glade as I have alittle boy u can image the pile up off washing to then get it installed and find before even being able to use it error e33 basically totally faulty so then I had to wait longer for an engineer to come out to be told what I already know then yesterday 19/o7/17 I was given a code to have to then go in store with so they could send me a new 1 again I asked if that’s all I d they said yes so today I sent my kid dad into store with the code to then be told he need another code that’s on the inside of the damn washing machine Soin the end I’ve phone them bk and told them come take the washing machine and refund me so he said I’d have to bring the card I’d paid with to do so ,so he just went back into store with the card to then be told they didn’t need the card once again giving me false info on the phone ,it will be collect Monday it’s an absolute joke the people skills and customer service is down the pan don’t be fooled quick to take you money but not quick to sort things out never ever again and if they don’t come then it will be on street for them to collect u’ve caused more hassle then good !!!�

Hi I went in to the Preston store last weekend to price up some fridge freezers ..found 2 a tall fridge and a tall freezer ..measured them and went back home to see if they would ..which they would .Went back this weekend to buy them which was 700 quid 4 both of them only to find out the freezer had gone up by 50 quid ..so I asked someone about this which I get a rude assistant which couldnt be bothered with us ..not willing to knock the price down unless we got a SIM card from you..no thanks so you have lost out in 700 quid

First of all i begrude having to even give this store a 1 star rating. My mum left this store today in tears with the diabolic service currys have provided. After buying a hotpoint fridge last week from you guys we installed it to soon realise that it doesnt work. After having to get someone out just to confirm that the fridge doesnt work (which was obvious) we then had to tell the chap that we would like a new one. This chap was a nice and friendly and told us that infact he is not suprised it as its been sat in a warehouse for a year. Within our rights we then wanted it to be replaced. My mum then went into the store today to be told that they cant have one delivered for another week. But if we would like to have a fridge for this thursday (4 days) we would have to pay £20. You guys took our old fridge away so we have no fridge remember? How can they expect anyone to get there wallet out for it to be replaced. The service was an absolute joke and the manager of the store did absolutly nothing to help but make my mum upset and angry. Thanks currys PC world you have got another bad review. Start looking after your customers and employ people who actually care.

Don’t believe anything you are told regarding delivery I went into store which is just over a mile away from where I live. Ordered and paid for delivery and installation of a washing machine which we were told was in stock and would be delivered today 25th November. Message this morning to say it would be delivered between 1pm and 5pm stayed in all day Phone call from the delivery depot in Skelmersdale at 4 .15 to say that they have been told it’s not on the van. No indication of future delivery.

Customer service is terrible in this store they were more interested in talking to one another than helping me purchase a laptop all I can say is remember what happened to comet next door

Bought a soundbar from another branch. When we opened it, it was damaged. Took it back to the Preston branch as we were passing a few hours later. Manager refused to refund me. Claims we have to take it back to the store we bought it from. Pointed out that the wording on the warranty says we can take it back to any store. Point blank refused to help. Just boxed it back up and sent us on our way. Just rang customer services. Been informed that this is nonsense. Any store can refund, regardless of where the product was bought. Now got to go to another store for a refund when it could have been dealt with yesterday. Advised us to email a formal complaint.

Beyond belief the contempt shown by customer services. I felt sorry for the guys in the shops but the customer services people are a disgrace. Lie lies and more lies.

Appalling service.ordered Xmas presents Friday for delivery Saturday but only part of the order arrived. No explanation to say why. Spent over 20 mins waiting for customer service to answer. When they did they weren't apologetic and just said that part hadn't been processed (Xbox and games bundle- games arrived but console didn't) as the order was actually part of the same deal I can't see how the games were processed without the console?! The woman wasn't at all sympathetic and said it was a busy time but she'd process it to be delivered Sunday. We waited in AGAIN but no delivery. After work today ( Monday) after no contact I went into store. After an hour waiting to speak to an advisor they again weren't helpful saying they would process it for a Thur/ Fri delivery (somehow after the Friday failed processing and Saturday failure to process I didn't believe them) as it is part of the Xmas present for my son this is unacceptable - they were quick to take the money but not deliver. How can a company fail so much ( failure to process, notice only part of an order has been processed at delivery, fail to deliver, lie to customers about processing- Susan at customer care- fail to deliver again, still not process the order, be completely unsympathetic to customers when you have failed them time and time again, not to mention the inconvenience of spending both weekend days (only time off work), over 30 minutes with the (not so) wonderful Susan and an hour and a half in total at store this evening after work. AVOID AT ALL COSTS- I certainly will be!

Appalling customer service, and worst of all I don't believe the staff are bothered about how poor it is or will worry themselves over poor reviews. I don't usually give negative feedback however pc world Capitol centre Preston really have shocked me today.
