Have you ever wondered about the origins of your meat? or where each cut came from?

If the answer is ‘YES’ to any of these questions then this is the course for you.

The Cut and Cook experience is the creation of Nigel Lewis, the infamous owner of Lewis’ butchers in Sunningdale, where he and his team of highly skilled butchers and chefs have designed an evening of audience participation, where attendees are taken on a journey from the carcase to the plate in all that’s required to cut and cook!

Attendees will learn the origins and life cycle of the meat, different cuts, and partake in learning butchery skills, all in a relaxed and fun atmosphere, accompanied with canapés and selected wines.

This ‘hands on’ experience includes a lesson in fine dining with our exceptional head chef, where he shows participants how best to cook the meat, and prepare delicious accompanying vegetable dishes to recreate at home. The course concludes with a sumptuous dinner crafted from the cutting of the meat to the cooking of the dish.

Food lovers will leave the course with a butchers knife, apron and a parcel of their own hand tied meat, to practice at home all that is required to cut and cook!
