About Cutting Edge Leeds
Have you ever wondered what it's like to be a surgeon?
Cutting Edge Leeds is the Surgical Society at the University of Leeds School of Medicine. We began in 2001 and have been helping students develop practical skills necessary for, and gain exposure to the world of surgery.
We are affiliated with the Royal College of Surgeons and aim to promote their events as well as organise independent talks from surgeons in all stages of their career, from all surgical specialities for students in all years of medical school.
We are extremely friendly and approachable! Whether you’re a medic, dentist or just an inspired student obsessed with “ER”, come and try your hand at one of Cutting Edge Leeds' many events - we have something for everyone!
