Who are we?CV Clinic is a recently founded social project with a focus on providing application advice and guidance to students and recent graduates, primarily targeting the professional services industry. Given the recent impact of the COVID-pandemic on the job market, we believe that it is even more important to have rock-solid application documents that will give you the edge in a highly competitive job-market. In recent years, we managed to learn a lot during the process of successfully applying for internships to investment banks, private equity funds and strategy consultancies. We are convinced that now is the best time to give back to the community and support our peers, that are currently struggling to find a job, with tailored CV advice as well as job screening guidance. Who should apply?We aim to help students and recent graduates whose job situation has been impacted, either directly or indirectly, by the COVID-pandemic. Each successful applicant will receive detailed feedback on his /her CV, including suggestions on formatting, wording and tailored advice on the individual profile and targeted industry. In the following Google Form, you will be asked to submit your CV as well as provide us with a short, one-paragraph answer to the outlined question. Modus Operandi: Sessions will be 30min long, held over Zoom and will entirely focus on (i) improving the applicant's CV or (ii) providing job search guidance as well as a comprehensive strategy on how to screen the job market and apply to targeted employers. To maximize efficiency and value, we strongly encourage you to show up to the meetings prepared with a clear view on (i) what industry / industries you want to apply for, (ii) what companies you aim to target and (iii) a concise overview on what strategy, if any, you used to apply for jobs in the past. Depending on availability, we will provide slots for follow-up meetings to check in on the progress that has been made on the applicant's side.
