Trading since 1989 Commercial Vehicle Auctions Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Ballyvesey Group www. ballyveseyholdings.com, based in Northern Ireland. Ballyvesey companies include Mercedes, Renault & Scania and DAF dealership groups, transport companies, trailer manufacturers and construction equipment sales throughout the UK and abroad.
CVA is an established auction house operating solely for the light and heavy commercial, car, plant and equipment markets. Ideally located their purpose built auction facilities in both Doncaster, South Yorkshire and Hemel Hempstead near London are close to main motorway, rail networks and airports.
Every vehicle auction operates a ‘drive through’ procedure ensuring the lot is offered for sale under cover and visible to potential bidders from inside and outside our heated sales rooms and modern restaurant facilities. State-of-the-art security systems are in place plus a 24 hour on-site security team ensuring the protection of assets in the care of CVA.
CVA pride themselves on offering a great choice of stock at their auctions. That’s why we work closely with famous-name finance, leasing and hire companies, local authorities, blue chip organisations and fleet operators to ensure a continuous supply of quality vehicles from trusted and recognised sources.
Vendors can also benefit from having their vehicles marketed to our vast database of national and international buyers and buyers are always kept in the picture with our comprehensive pre-sale catalogues packed full of information and images.

Well...the doors to CVA closed until further notice today and it truely saddens me that I don’t know when the next time is that they’ll open.
The trucks, vans and machinery are all lined up ready for the next auction.
We have a lot of exciting stock on offer and some new customers waiting to start utilising our range of professional services.
... We have kept on working until the very last minute with a fleet of 20+ bin wagons rolling into Hemel Hempstead today ensuring we are stocked up and ready to serve our customers as soon as possible.
We are reviewing government guidelines every day and are ready to get cracking that hammer down as soon as it’s safe to do so, initial indications are that we could be open mid-late April.
Most importantly, our staff, customers, friends and families are all safe so let’s get this pesky virus defeated so that we can get back to doing what we’re best at.

Tomorrow’s auction in Doncaster is now ONLINE ONLY. You can bid along with the live auctioneer from the comfort of your PC, Smart Phone or Tablet. Alternatively you can bid on the phone with one of our representatives or leave a proxy/absentee bid.
Unfortunately due to the recent government ruling there can be no viewing prior to auction however a member of our team will happily give you information regarding condition and the method of collection ...i.e driven or collected via transporter.
