Petrol and diesel cars will be banned by 2040 in the UK. Well, not banned outright, but manufacturers won't be able to sell new cars with internal combustion engines by this deadline.

So this evening sees the airing of the DIY SOS Big Build in Blackpool which we are very proud of Simon taking part in, so if you've got a spare hour this evening please watch 8pm BBC1 and fingers crossed we'll catch a glimpse of him doing all his work on the curved path in the stunningly landscaped gardens.

I'm afraid 5 stars just isnt enough for these two chaps...I cannot speak highly enough of them both for their INCREDIBLE customer service, and professionalism. . Infact they have gone above and beyond. After a very stupid error of judgement, i had purchased a car from gumtree, which basically came to the end of its life on the motorway, 6 weeks after purchase. The guy from the RAC took me to this place and i was in a bit of state...Im a makeup artist so my car is crucial to me earning money...They hooked me up with a courtesy car whilst they looked at it and when they delivered the bad news, that i would never be able to drive it again, they offered me a car within my price range. All done with ease, no stress and lots of laughter ( believe me i needed it after loosing all that money!) They are really nice guys and they are excellent at their profession. The car i am now driving is superb and all in all this whole experience has been nothing short of amazing. So thankyou!! Still in its first year, these guys are definitely around to stay! I have told all my friends and family to switch to these guys immediately! I HIGLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

I had a problem with my 2003 MGZR. Took it in to CVM and they sorted it out extremely quickly. Their customer service was second to none, as was the speed with which they worked. As well as the first class courteous service, the price for the repair work was excellent. Overall I can't praise CVM enough, and I will certainly be going back there for future car services. Thank you!!

Had my 2016 SLK250 CDI serviced by Steven & Simon, very pleased, really good lads & very reasonable price. What's not to like !

Can't praise these guys enough, started going to them in 2014 after having trouble with the air con on my Mercedes A180CDi after being told by another garage that it could cost me £2K to sort out, took it to Steve and Simon so they could have a look at it and was told it was simply the condenser which a week later they replaced and the total cost was less than £400 have had my last two services with them, and a few other jobs great guys. As they say: I tried the rest and finally found the best.

Came in for a headlight replacement for a Nissan Micra this morning. Very efficient service, good reasonable price, better than certain competitors. Great friendly staff and changed within 15 minutes. Would highly recommend and use again!! Thanks :)
