Cycle Heaven (York Station)

Visit to cycle Heaven to day great service from Ash and Tom as always

Great place for folding bikes, and especially the rare top end Birdy folder, with suspension and Rohloff hub gears. Great selection and great advice.

I came for a link connector fixing on a fixie. Had it fixed within 5 minutes for £5, so far, not so bad (was only needing workforce). 300 m out of the shop, the link connector broke and the last link on the chain as well. I went to Halfords then, got a brand new chain, advices and workforce for only £9.99, within 10 minutes.
Convenient, quick, but I had a bad experience (unlucky me), and not really an amazing customer service, so will stick with Halfords.

Visited on Wednesday 27th July, with my five fellow girlie cyclists on the Way of the Roses, after yet another puncture.,
All TEN tyres pressures where checked and pumped up if required.
A new tyre was purchased and fitted while we had the other bikes checked. Thank you for speedy efficient service with a smile, sorry if we over did the teasing. X

Plus - they answered all my Brompton questions and clearly knew what they were talking about
Minus - not very friendly about it and did not offer anything that wasn't asked :(
What an odd mix.

Gave our tandem a 'once over'. Very knowledgable, helpful and friendly. Good value too!

Upon receiving a bike from a family member who had not used the bike in a while I needed to send it for a service, I decided to use Cycle Heaven because of it's central location and I had heard only good things. Adam, the store manager served me, he was very friendly and informative, helping me narrow down what adjustments I needed for my Bike without having to go overboard on the cost and in the end have an efficient final product. I left it with him and in just two days it was ready to pick up. It has been three months since the service and I have no complaints!
