Richard, the store manager, leads a really professional team. having returned to cycling after many years, through the cycle to work scheme, every memebr of staff I spoke with was helpful professional and talked about the technicalities of the bikes, in clear simple language. My bike was ready when they said and was handed over with a comprehensive run through of all the features and ow to get the most enjoyment out of it. Can't praise them highly enough.

I have been coming to this store for the best part of a year and they are great in the fact that they will always try to resolve any issue there and then, unlike most stores where you need to leave your bike there and pick it up days later.

The reason for two out of five stars is due to me spending just under £200.00 on a service and new parts, this service was done poorly as a day later the bike failed causing quite a serious injury. Two months later when healed I took the bike back to be re-serviced only to pick up the bike in an even worse condition. This has resulted in me losing all confidence in both my bike and cycle republic.

Excellent service. Had worn down the screws in my shoes to the point where I couldn't replace the cleats. Was half expecting to have to replace the shoes as a result but the workshop couldn't have been more helpful and the mechanic (Lee) somehow managed to remove the screws (with the aid of a saw!). All for no charge too. Would recommend and use again.

I do hope management read this as the team at Cycle Republic Birmingham were outstanding and an absolute joy to deal with! Big shout out to Duty manager Richard who was knowledgeable, kind, polite and he and also Luke who opened up late and stayed over an hour extra!!!! just so I could collect my beloved new hybrid. I was not rushed and felt really at ease with these very experienced bike people! Its worth battling through the city centre and its now my go to place. I cannot thank them enough after having a very poor experience with another major bike retailer they have come to my rescue! Perfect service could not have been any better and I will be telling EVERYONE about it! Richard also rocks a fantastic beard! I hope this review is not in vain and they get the accolade they deserve!

I recently bought my wife a bike from this place earlier on in the year and the service was so good I returned to get myself one in the sales they currently have on going (via a cycle2work scheme). Richard was pleasant and knowledgeable of the products making me feel comfortable with both purchases! The bike was well built on site by people who clearly know what they are doing. Awesome service all round.

Visited Cycle Republic this morning after I found both my tyres had a puncture :( This was my first visit to the store and the service I received was excellent and very informative.

The store is in a perfect location. It is well equipped and has everything you need for cycling.

Can't wait to visit the store again.

Everytime I visit the store I always feel welcome and custom appreciated. Friendly and down to earth staff make it an easy option for me when I am getting new gear. Keep up the good work. Fair better and cheaper than all the competition I have been to.

I have never experienced service as good as this. The whole team were top notch whenever i contaced them but especially Rich, (big ginger beard)who was always made himself available at the shortest notice.
Just a brilliant experience!

These guys helped me out massively with a last minute TOTAL overhaul of my bike which ended up riding like new. I had an event coming up and needed to use my winter bike (which was a total mess) because of the upcoming conditions. I dropped it in at 8:30 (the opening times here are awesome) and it was ready by lunchtime. Nice work Cycle Republic, and a massive shout out to Jess.

Exceptional service. When purchasing a new bike a full range of options were discussed to ensure the best bike for my needs was bought.
In the weeks following my purchase I've had to pop in for a couple of reasons, most recently a replacement link on a chain (due to someone at work bashing into it) and it was replaced quickly and efficiently with no quibble free of charge.
Highly recommended shop.
