Cycle Republic

My go to place for anything cycle related, sometimes just pop in for a rest, grab a cliff bar and look around. My next bike will probably be from here just because I like the people. Loads better than that lot up the road.

I am more than happy to review my experience at Cycle Republic today 05/11/17

It is a breath of fresh air to experience excellent customer service.

My interest is for a Boardman CXR in the elite range however the bike in question was not in the showroom but was reliably informed this bike could be ordered in especially for me so I can make my decision on a bike that costs over £1500

Whilst there I viewed the range of electric bikes and was greeted by Philip a member of staff who’s friendly personality and wealth of knowledge about the products has generated much interest creating a second visit to be arranged at my convenience which makes it very accommodating to test ride one.

Hi. Have been meaning to write a review for some months about Cycle Republic Nottingham for some months! I purchased a blue Voodoo Hoodoo from here on finance I think back in June and the service I received was EXCELLENT!!!!!

Not sure of the young mans name who served me (he had a beard) but he went out of his way to make sure everything was ok and even made sure my seat was at the correct height for my size. He even changed the jacket I had bought for a larger size despite the objections of the nasally arrogant sounding manager who didn't appear from behind his corner!

Great service and the staff member deserves a medal.

Gold service yesterday: initially dissapointed that I could straight away see dirt and grease not removed from front brakes.
More annoyed to find that front head were so far out from been set up correctly with the new cables I had to spend 10 mins sorting it this morning. Not even checking heard are working correctly on a £100 service is inexcusable. Very dissapointed

The staff at the shop are very helpful and approachable, the assistant manager did his upmost best to diagnose my bike and make me aware of things I needed to make it safer for me to ride. I was very releaved to walk out of the shop with a strong piece of mind and confidence that my bike was now ready to ride safely as I commute everyday to work.
He could've just left the other faults and just fixed the innertube; but he made me aware of other dangers and attended to them. Thanks very much

Dint even build my bike up correctly gears wernt in line properly and brake cable dint go through the bracket on the fork f cycle republic and f halfords

Being new to cycling I wasn’t really sure what I needed. Having the option to purchased my bike and accessories through a cycle to work scheme a colleague recommended talking to Cycle Republic. Whilst in Cycle Republic Nottingham I met a very knowledgable guy called Matt. He showed me all the different options and gave really sound advice. I have had the bike for 6 weeks now it is great. The package I chose was much cheaper than anyone else I could find on the high street or the internet excellent value. This company is highly recommend for anyone interested in cycling.

Great range of bikes, bits of kit and lots of flexible payment options. Quick to sort out issues and have most of what I want in stock.

Bought a child seat with my baby in tow and a staff member carried it across town to my car, superb service so kind of them, thank you!

Went in to the Nottingham store today to buy a pump tried to get the staffs attention to no avail. Settled on the pump I wanted and went to pay and waited and waited staff standing on the others side of the shop but no one came over so pump left on the counter and went next door to Evans cycles. Straight away staff attentive asking if I needed help guided to the best pump for my needs and purchased it. Cycle Republic if you can loose sale in this way then good luck to you ! It really shows that this is part of Halfords chain the same could give a dam customer service.
