Cycle Surgery (Permanently Closed)

Honestly i though i had found a good place. Staff was definitely friendly, however once i picked up the bike i noticed that the wheel had a slight wobble. I mentioned this however the mechanic insisted that this was normal and that it would be sorted out at the service. 6 weeks later I brought it in for the service and noticed that the wheels were still a tad wonky, Gabor assured me that this is normal and that the tyre itself was a bit off. Since then ive had issues with a wobble in my cassette, my chain ring rub against the derailleur. Ive only used my bike for the last 4 days to commute to work since the service. I will be taking it elsewhere for a full service now.

Everything upmarket keeps the standards high

Terrible reception when i brought my bike in for a service. Just ignored me when i walked in even though i had already booked it in over the phone. Came across as very unwilling to take my bike in and I assumed it was because i did not have their preferred road type bike and they might have to order parts in. I took my bike round the corner to Roll for the Soul and received excellent reception and bike service.

Fantastic customer service! I was after some disposable latex gloves for some bike repairs. They didn't sell any but one of the employees, James, just gave me a pair for free from their workshop. Definitely going back for my cycling stuff.

Customer service is excellent! Also great wares. Shop is tidy and organised. One of my favourites.
