Been in today for a bike fit service I'm blown away with the knowledge and assistance in setting up my bike thanks Dan for your help

Knowledgeable staff, quality service

I go in for consumables now and again and Dan is a great example of how a local bike shop owner should run his business.

Anybody who is a bike zealot knows just how cut-throat the industry has become. So all credit to him for taking away business from the likes of Halfords, Evans etc.

You'll always get people who complain about bike service because in reality they do not understand the process. I've seen the guys working transparently over the counter and they are doing a top job in a difficult sector.

Drawn in by smooth sell and got cycle scheme bike here, initially no complaints. After approx 6 months went for a service/repair after being promised a £30 charge instead of £40. Ended up with surprise £170 bill when I came to collect (that was due to a manufacturers faulty structural part according to assistant) Dan claimed I had not cleaned the bike properly!

I felt obliged to pay in order to get my bike back but would not go back and advise avoiding at all cost. You're made to feel looked after and valued at first then screwed over when the opportunity presents itself.

A really great all round experience. After first visit walked away as felt Dan was trying to 'sell' me a Trek!! - having been to other shops in Wakefield and Leeds we returned realising that he and his team DO know what they are talking about and worth listening to. Sorted my wife out with a good Trek cycle and have given a lot of help re my bike and things to do (at low cost) to improve. Will keep using and suggest you pay them a visit.

If you want the best buy either Trek or Giant, if you want the best service, bike fit, or advice go here. Dan and Neil provide a superb service, with indepth industry knowledge, and will give expert advice whenever it is asked of. The prices are good, the product range is massive, and other than parking its easy to get to.
