Cycle Waterlooville

The national cycle network passes through #Waterlooville, and should provide an excellent route from Clanfield or Portsmouth into town. Unfortunately, it is far from excellent. Any recommendations, issues, comments will be gratefully received!

Thank you for visiting the page, most likely because of a recent discussion with councillors held at the Waterlooville Baptist church on the 4th of October, organised by the @waterloovilleEventsTeam.
We weren't expecting cycling to come up, but glad it was, especially in relation to the transforming cities bid, which is targeted by the Department of Transport to change the way in which cities enable citizens to move around without dependance on a private vehicle.
We've got a ...Facebook discussion group to enable discussions and get your feedback that we can bring to councillors, businesses, and other stakeholders as to what the current blockers and issues are to those that want to (or already) cycle in the area are, and we really want, and need your feedback; you are the residents effected by these issues, lets get them heard. If you cycle locally, what bits do you like? Do you ride into town for a bit of shopping, or grab a bit of cake?
Are there any issues you, or others you know currently have with cycling locally, if you already do so? if you don't, what prevents you from doing so?
