Cyclelane Limited

In the middle of doing the Way of the Roses our group had a snapped spoke and a dodgy front brake. Arrived at cyclelane at 2:30pm desperate for some help. Despite being obviously run off his feet, Nick took both bikes - after an hour and a half he had sorted them out for us and for a very reasonable price too. Highly recommended - very knowledgeable, passionate and helpful bike mechanic. Thank you. I just wish we lived closer so you could do our regular bike maintenance!!

There is very little choice of bike shops close to market weighton/pocklington but this bloke is actually far superior to the ones in Hull as he gives a no nonsense service and will tell you if parts should really be replaced or not with lots of explanation and clear pricing
I have a couple of decent bikes and won't take them anywhere else
The only very minor criticism is that you can't get hold of him on the phone but that ultimately is because he is so busy all the time so he could either spend time answering the phone or getting on with fixing people's bikes

This is the best bike mechanic in the York/hull area. The guy is so meticulous. I have been going since he opened and have never had any problems

I am based in New York but living for a few weeks in Pocklington and cycling in the area. This is one of the best bike shops I have experienced. The owner is knowledgable and very generous with his time. Good value bike repair and in sharing of his knowledge and experience. I would not hesitate in recommending this LBS.

Thank You very much for setting the gears up on my bike . I dropped my bike off the evening b4 and was ready for me at lunch time. I'm very happy with the work my bike goes into all gears now and no noise. Also Nick (the owner) said "If it misbehaves again just pop back with it" So for me that's great service hence the 5 stars.

Nick never ceases to amaze. A veritable encyclopedia of bike knowledge he is Pocklingtons answer to Google when it comes to cycles. Excellent work on my Scott bike which, in his own words, had been mullered ! Within one hour, and at a very reasonable cost, I was back on the road. Seriously, I cannot overstate this guys talent. Both my wife and I purchased bikes from Nick two years ago and have no complaints whatsoever. Recommended !
