I've been using cycle street for a fair few years now and have not once been able to fault them. Mark and Jon are always really helpful and have never failed to get my bike fixed in time for my next race (sometimes only with a few hours notice). Recently I managed to brake one of my frames and they managed to source me a warranty replacement within a few hours, something I would never have managed if bought online.

I thoroughly recommend them for any of your cycling needs, no matter how big or small.

Came in for a lock, with much regret on my face as my just-purchased second hand bike was crappily assembled. Jon adjusted everything while giving an entire starter pack lecture on bikes for dummies. :) Incredible service, so kind and competent, all for the price of that lock!! Best bike shop ever, no doubt.

Had a very old bike with dying chain and gears, the team sourced a required rare part from an external source and fitted everything perfectly. Kept me updated along the way. Feels like a completely new bike, thank you!

Jon & Mark fantastic guys I met. Went to buy something cheap but workable bikes, nowhere found in york. Found one second hand here under 100 and the bike was high and long. Mark replaced some bits and fired me absolutely afterwards. Recommend to #universityofyorkstudents.

Over the years I've tried most of the bike shops in York, and Cyclestreet have proved to be the most consistently friendly, helpful, and good value. Particularly of note, they never try to push a more expensive option if there's a cheaper alternative that will suit my use case just as well, and work is always completed in a timely fashion and to a high standard.

Great shop - friendly and knowledgeable staff, fast turnaround times on repairs and services, good range of stock.

I have used CycleStreet for a while now to purchase anything from a water bottle to new cycles. The team are massively helpful, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and always make you welcome, you really do get top notch service with products to match. Im sure from novice (which i am) to expert you wont find anything but a positive and pleasurable experience.

Purchased my first full suspension 'All Mountain' bike this week from Jon at CycleStreet.
After a few weeks of looking around, reading reviews, many discussions via email and phone and trialling bikes both at Cycle Street and from other shops in the area I decided on the Orbea Rallon X10 which was the current demo bike at Cycle Street.
After saving up the readies and arranging a deal on the demo bike I gave Jon a few days notice to get the bike ready and collected it this week. The bike is absolutely spot on, my friends even thought it was new! The first run I did I was grinning from ear to ear.
Jon has been extremely helpful with the entire process and as I am new to the full-suspension scene he has taken the time to explain things to me about the bike and it's technology. I also asked if the tyres could be converted to tubeless before I collected which he was happy to do with no extra cost.
I have found the whole experience to be very good indeed, I felt like I have been looked after well, had everything explained to me and all my questions answered in a friendly professional manner. I will be using them again in the future!!

I had an emergency yesterday as a disabled person I needed my tryes fitted on my wheelchair , as the ones I had were badly worn and had been removed, I called in at the shop fingers crossed they could help me, they helped me straight away they fitted me new tyres they were very helpful and very friendly they were fantastic brilliant customer service, if only I could ride a bike I would be in there and know I would get 100% service thank you again for helping me from a very happy customer Cindy

Amazing service with really reasonable prices. I needed my bike to be fixed ASAP (without a booking), and even though they were really busy and couldn't really fit me in, they did! Lovely genuine people willing to help out! I won't go anywhere else in York for my bike repairs now
