Managed to strip the pedal thread on my left crank, phoned to book in and they talked me through trying to restore the thread instead. Didn't work unfortunately so had to take the bike in, but glad I did. Had been looking for a good local bike shop, this one is great!
As the crank was being replaced I had a natter with the owner, talking all sorts including advice on clipless pedals for my MTB. The work was completed well before we finished talking, and the new pedals will be getting a thorough test tomorrow.

You can tell they really know and love bikes. Will definitely be returning for future bike needs, and recommending to friends!

Excellent service! I bought my bike there 2 years ago and wouldn't take it anywhere else. They always provide me with practical and honest advice. Other bike shops in the area could learn a thing or two from their professionalism and level of customer service.

I was served by an incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic, friendly and very young teenager. I only bought a chain and a cassette but he kindly explained to me how a 'Chain checker' can save me money in the future so I bought that too! Yes they are more expensive than online giants but they are there to help and make you enjoy your riding experience by offering top service and support. That young man is a credit to the shop just so passionate about all things bikes, very knowledgeable too. I am impressed... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I visited these guys whilst visiting the local area. I wish they were my local shop. All so friendly and knowledgable! Went in on a busy Saturday and had a great chat with who appeared to be the Manager (v tall man, grey hair, early 40's I would say). He knows his stuff!!! Top service.

Bought an Allez from these guys about 4 years ago and buying a Whyte 801 from them today. These guys are brilliant. always knowledgeable and helpful and generally just happy to talk bikes :) I have also had my bike serviced here since buying and it has felt like brand new every time it leaves the shop!

Had a problem with the bike and rung them up. Very helpful on the phone but said I could bring it in for a quick check. I took it in the same day and they fixed the headset on the spot. They charged a very nominal fee for the work and the mechanic also gave me a lesson on what I did wrong not to make the same mistake next time. Fantastic service.
