Cymdeithas Dafydd ap Gwilym (Y Dafydd) was founded in 1886 as a society for Welsh students at the University of Oxford. First founded as a Welsh speaking society, Y Dafydd now regularly holds bilingual events for students across the University from a variety of different Welsh backgrounds.
