good, great service, full breakfast for 3 £35 is a little expensive, but over all it was good

We'd gone to Cote as it was across the road from a performance we were to see. We advised the staff that we were seeing a show tonight and they were absolutely on their fame. The service was fast and friendly and the food was lovely. When we found out the show was postponed, we returned to the restaurant. They were so disappointed for us they gave us free bubbly (not expected - this was not their fault) and we had beautiful dessert and coffee which definitely made up for it. Thanks to the lovely staff at Cote for their amazing hospitality.

User

The waitress gave us two complimentary glasses of champagne when she heard my partner and I hadn’t been out for nearly a year without the children :) Really friendly staff and beautiful place. Oh and the food was delicious. Huge vegetarian menu for people not so keen on meat.. we will definitely come back again soon.

User

Our first table was by the door but when we asked if we could be seated away from the entrance, we were taken upstairs to a lovely, more intimate part of the restaurant. The staff were lovely and very helpful, our wine was sadly past it's best but was replaced immediately. The food was cooked beautifully and when it came to desert, we asked which desert wine would suit our choices and the one that they recommended was perfect. We are planning on going back for a birthday bash at the end of the month and cannot wait.

User

My wife and I had a very lovely meal. Many thanks to all the staff

User

My husband took me to Tunbridge wells for my birthday and booked here for Saturday night .

We arrived on a cold rainy night and was met by the warm smile of the manager.

We ordered our starters and must admit the French onion soup was amazing.

We then waited for our mains but unfortunately the kitchen had not received the order and they never came.

This is when the manager stepped up ,she couldn't do enough for us and made sure our meal came as soon as possible and even arranged a birthday surprise where everyone sung Happy birthday.

Food was amazing and even though we had to wait we had a lovely time ....we understand mistakes do happen

User

Lovely meal in a lovely restaurant served by lovely attentive staff. Thank you all.

User

Had a wonderful meal here with my husband the food was really delicious and we will definitely be back to try more. Can recommend the calamari and the fish pie both very tasty!

User

Great service today on new years day and lovely food our first visit will certainly return. Butternut risotto was amazing and great choice of food with kids menu too.

User

Four of us ate there on Tuesday evening before going to Trinity Theatre. Our 2-course dinner was served very quickly and was excellent. I would not hesitate to go back again.

User

Côte in Tunbridge Wells is a perfect location for brunch and to watch the world go by. The service is always polite and efficient. What more could you ask for.

User

When the staff today knew it was Mum's 97th birthday they not only gave us a free bottle of bubbly but..... they went and bought a card AND a beautiful bouquet of flowers for her. Quite amazing! Thank you all so much for her very special lunch.

User

Went with hubby for my birthday today.

All was good, staff very friendly & helpful.....went for mains & a dessert....mains arrived fine & were very tasty.

Empty plates were taken away quickly & dessert order given a 2nd time.

Waited over 25 minutes for our dessert which staff had to go & get themselves as we were ready to go due to car park time running out but they were very apologetic.

We literally had to eat quickly as nice as it was.

Still had to pay service charge & full meal cost....ruined birthday meal & rushed.

Won't be going back & not recommending either.....very poor!

User

We had a nice meal there with attentive staff, would go again

User

Had lunch on Saturday, food fab but if the staff enjoy working here then they could do well to let their faces know! Was reasonably busy but not rushed off their feet so the service was not what I would expect, a little slow. Food well presented tho and huge compliments to the chefs. Would like to try again next time we are in the area.

User

Came for dinner with my mum and 2 daughters for Mother's Day! Food was fantastic couldn't fault it at all! The only down side was they got one of the starters wrong so had to wait ages for one, then main course again had to wait ages for one. Would come back again though as food so good. It was very busy!

User

Probably wouldn't return, not the best location and food was average. Service was poor although friendly waiter, just had no idea of correct service. Not worth the money the £75 for lunch.

User

Previous experience at this restaurant had been good but last night was a disaster. The staff eventually served us 15 minutes after being seated once my daughter got up and called for service.

If you are ever seated on the right side of restaurant on the long bench seats ask to be moved as you have the small kitchen where they take all the plates and cutlery. It sounds like they are throwing them on top of each other "so noisy ".

My daughter had a fillet steak, asked for medium but when she sliced it you would of thought it was still mooing. Had to send it back. I had a sirloin which was the opposite just about well done. Was totally ignored by the staff for the most part of the evening

We will be giving this restaurant a long break

User

Lovely food, friendly staff. Pleasurable evening. Def go again.
