Famed for their sweet orange flesh, Charentais Melons are available for only a few months of the year and feature on all of our menus this month. We had our first trip out with our new baby yesterday and were seating in the side bar area, which was fine, though would have preferred to be in the main restaurant as it has more atmosphere. Quality and choice of food is consistently good at Cote. Service was slow in general, which seems to always be the case with this particular venue from past experience, but the food came out quickly. We enjoyed our visit and will continue to return.

User

Two of us , turned up ad hoc on Monday . We got a table, the restaurant is very bright and airy . The staff were very attentive ! The food was delicious . I have been a few times , always great ,

User

Took my grandad out here yesterday for his birthday and we had a lovely time! The lady who was waiting our table was polite and very helpful- the food was delicious! I had the profiteroles for pudding, I swear I thought about them all night

User

Our first time here, myself and my mum ordered from the set menu 3 courses for £13 we was very impressed with our meals & desert's, they were absolutely delicious, service was quick and meals hot. Waitresses were polite and attentive to your every need. Seating very comfortable and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended this establishment & will definitely come again.

User

Our 3rd time there now, still as good as the first visit. Staff always attentive but not in your face, good atmosphere. Food very good and good size portions.

We will be back again

User

My first time here, was a bit worried at first as I couldn't see anything vegetarian although i do eat chicken & turkey, I just don't want to eat it all the time, but I must say I was impressed my meal & desert, it was absolutely delicious

User

Have eaten here 3 times this weekend - food is gorgeous I had the seabream with Ratatouille - now on the french toast with fruit salad - staff are friendly and efficient - helped to make a thoroughly enjoyable weekend

User

Great food. Looks and tastes good. The March special soup du poisson is just sublime. And their chefs know how to cook the perfect steak. Plus I joined the Cote Brasserie club online and got a free bottle of wine worth £24.50.

User

Fantastic breakfast great service fabulous atmosphere will definitely be going back.

User

Date night with hubby an had steak with glazed carrots omg is all I can say steak amazing carrots amazing service amazing will go back when summer is finally here love to sit outside love this place ❤️

User

Coming here is like being transported to France. The food is authentic and delicious, washed down with a very drinkable house red wine and extremely attentive service. We'll definitely be coming back.

User

Beautiful decor, outstanding service and a delicous ,well put together menu. Superb taste, fresh ingredients and pretty presentaion. The portions were spot and a very chilled vibe where music was low so you could conversate. Our waitress had a great french accent. It made tge atmosphere more authentic! Merci!

User

I'd been Once before when this branch first opened and my meal was fabulous so decided to have the same meal again. Unfortunately, had to send food away. However, the staff were very professional, drinks were offered whilst we waited for our food and all was made good. These things happen and in my opinion, it is how the situation is dealt with.I would recommend this restaurant and will be back.

User

Had a lovely meal with 3 friends . We all had main ,sweet and coffees and lovely bottle of wine . Only downside was that our waiter needed his manager so he could put our bill through with discount .

User

Family meal in WGC Thursday. Very friendly. Comfortable seating in the main restaurant area. Good choice of food for all courses., very tasty. I had the "cottage pie" mmm followed by chocolate pot. Oooo.

User

Comfortable seating arrangement, Food was fast and nice and hot.

Only real negative was that my Granddaughters chicken was so very tough that she couldn't eat it.

We did complain to the waitress but never had an apology. Also ordered an extra drink that wasn't received..

But overall we had a pleasant birthday celebration.

User

Always good food...friendly staff...however, it was so hot inside that I had to go and drink my coffee outside!...time to do something about the sun glaring in...most uncomfortable to have to eat with sunshine in your face.

User

Went on valentines night and got there ten minutes before my table was booked. Was told I would have to wait but there's no where to sit. Sat outside and wasn't asked if I would like a drink. Service and food was good when we did get in.

User

Unfortunately I was disappointed (in part). Lets start with the food.....sensational ! The calamari I had to start was cooked to perfection ! I then had rib eye steak which again I couldn't have asked for more. Unfortunately the service was a terrible let down. Both females waitresses looked like they didn't want to be there. I made a mistake of accepting someone else's main course because I misheard her and it was for my colleague. I apologised to her TWICE for bringing it to my end of the table and she just gave me a terrible look with no acknowledgement. It pained me to pay a 15% service charge for something I thought wasn't any where near justified. Such a shame as the meal became a disappointing birthday treat.
