D-Dee'S Day Nursery

Something to consider.

🌼🌼A trip to the park that ends in a nature walk.🌼🌼
All gathered objects were explored back at nursery and are ready to be part of our loose part play for next week.
The wonderful world of being 2, 3 and 4....a time to embrace the joy of investigation and to hold on to everyone of those 'why?' and 'how?' moments.

Another trip to the park, we are so lucky to have these places to explore in our community.

🌿🌿Transient Art🌿🌿
We went on a sensory journey with transient art this week.
This was all about the process and not the product. We spoke about the feel and smell of the herbs, leaves and plants before making our very own pictures with them. No glue or tape, just a snapshot into our creative world!

😍😍Miss Sophie who all of our Wednesday children know and love. Take a look at this class at her dance school for your 3-4 year olds.

⚽️⚽️Craig, our football coach here at D-Dee's was one of our children a good few years back. He is now running his own sport coaching business and visits us here at D-Dee's every week.

What started as a large scale self-portrait activity led to investigating shadows.
All totally in the moment and all totally linked to our children and their unique and individual interests.

We love Tuesday mornings when Craig from TSC coaching comes to nursery and we all do sport together.

Three day weekend, spend at least some of it outside with your little people. Life is not in four walls so learning shouldn't be, let your children play and let them just be!

🍾🍾🍾We are proud to tell you that we have been shortlisted for the 2018 Swale Business Awards. As always we are very proud of what we do here at D-Dee's but we could not do any of it without our very special team and all of our amazing little people, thank you to them all.

When you are just a little person your world should be investigative, creative and full of sensory fun.
With a baby room team who provide wonderful invitations to play such as these then learning is innately engaging and a joy to take part in.
If we can develop and foster a love of learning then our job here is done. ❤️

😍😍Bread Making😍😍
We have been looking at cause and effect, how do things change when we add items or change things?
Our dough grew all by itself after we added yeast and then again after being baked in the oven.
... We loved sharing our bread at tea and snack time.

Our toddlers went to the park today.
Exploring, climbing, swinging and investigating our community. We are so lucky to have all of this in our village.

Our toddlers had a lovely morning exploring the dinosaurs. They roared as they left their footprints in the paints.
These little people are a delight to work with and bring smiles and laughter every day.

We have made a beautiful piece of artwork together.
We were introduced to lots of new vocabulary as we discussed the texture and feel of the resources.
... The glitter was so much fun but did get everywhere, we will be sparkly for days and days.

The lovely D-Dee's staff continue to be like family to us, even after Monster #3 left 2 years ago. Cannot recommend more highly!

My daughter loves it here. She loves the food and started to eat veg ! She really come out of her shell and made a great friend with all the teachers. She cries when it closed. Cant recommend enough.

I am using my mums Facebook to write this but I wanted to rate not just the nursery but the staff as well. Jonah is new to you and has been made to feel very welcome. You should all be so proud of the work you do because you really do make a difference to our children's lives and you put the parents minds at ease as well. I've not once looked back at choosing you to care for him so thank you. Please if you are considering a nursery, choose the one with all the heart ❤

Every child and family is treated as an individual, the facilities and activities are incredible and the love and care for every child is second to none �

D-dees has been brilliant. Our infant has come on leaps and bounds since attending. They are so friendly and caring that I feel confident it's the right thing to leave my child in their care. Would recommend them to anyone.
