DachshundTown Festival is set to return in July 2019 for its 3rd HUGE event! Bigger, better and with a new fun theme to the day!
... This years DachshundTown has all the fun of last years festival, but with a Comicon theme!
Spectators can enjoy watching our huge Comicon fancy dress parade and contest. Grab a ticket if your dog would like to take part! Large rosettes for winning dogs placed 1st to 10th!
Comicon covers all thing comic, including fictional characters, from Superheroes, Starwars and beano, to Rupert the bear, Power Puff Girls and Paddington, the list is endless!
­¤ææ Take part in our red carpet event! Glitz, glamour, music, red carpet, live commentary, huge rosettes, and gorgeous Dachshunds set the scene! Our pageant has had an overhaul for 2019. Guests can look forward to seeing a bigger pageant setup, with new backdrops, Our best pageant rosettes so far (rosettes for pageant winners up to 10th place), prizes and beautiful glitzy crowns for pageant winners up to 3rd place!
­¤Åå Huge fun dog show We know how much Dachshund fanatics love show classes, our huge fun show is open to Dachshund and Dachshund crosses. There'll be gorgeous large rosettes for winning dogs placed 1st to 10th in every class! This year each fun show class has a Comicon themed name and amazing special rosettes! NO costumes are to be worn in the fun show. No training or experience required to take part. OVER 130 LARGE ROSETTES TO BE WON!
Our best in show and RBIS winners, will take home gigantic rosettes, and large bags of food kindly supplied by Burns
Purchase a ticket to participate in our crazy sports day style Dachshund races! ­¤Åå Lots of large rosettes to be won! This year we will be hosting a brand new team race, "sausage Slalom", alongside everyones favourite, "The Cheese Run"
It's a day out! Spend the day with us and take time to enjoy shopping at tons of top quality pet accessory trade stands ­¤øŹ­¤ŹŠ
Pop into the Lookphotos pop up photo studio, for an on the spot professional mini shoot, with new backdrops and props! ­¤ææ
Let your dogs cool off in our splash pools, grab yourself some lunch, watch Elmo the champion trick dog perform, or enjoy a drink from our outdoor summer bar ­¤źé­¤ææ We even have a vip area with complementary refreshments (prebook only)

We need some new faces to join our existing poster pups! We are on the hunt for minis, standards, all coats, and a daxie cross too!
Please follow the ŌĆśone photo per dogŌĆÖ rule! ... Extras will be removed!
The ultimate decision will be about dogs that we feel represent a wide range within the breed, when put next to each other on their posters - so we may choose some very pristinely groomed show dogs and some crazily scruffy wires alongside an OAP for example, we want to see them ALL! We LOVE expressive faces (they make great social media posts!) and we *may* also take the number of ŌĆślikesŌĆÖ on a picture into account if there are a very large amount of them (we will take that to mean thatŌĆÖs who the people want to see more of!) although it could be that one with many likes and one with none both go through because we feel they would look fab together. If you havenŌĆÖt already seen, DachshundTown is BACK this July 27th with another fabulous festival! This yearŌĆÖs theme is COMICON! Some of you might be wondering what that is, and my advice is to put it in google and check out the images! Basically, the fancy dress part of the day will be Comic themed! (As well as our decor and the show class names) This can be things like Star Wars, Star Trek, super heroes and villains, and even cuter things like the power puff girls, and act...ually, if you have a favourite film or tv character, even if it didnŌĆÖt originate from comics, there has probably been one made since! So the options are limitless!
The fun dog show WONT be for dressed dogs, so the only Comicon aspect of this part are the fun themed class names, and the pageant is an event in itself so only has a pageant theme!

WhoŌĆÖs at crufts this week?! X

We had the most amazing day sausages of every size, colour and age .Really well run event and fabulous stalls to treat our daxies ’┐Į

We absolutely loved it! Willow enjoyed meeting all her sausage friends, taking part in the events and winning 1st place in the fancy dress and 3rd in the pageant! We also bought some lovely bits from the stalls. CanŌĆÖt wait for next year! ’┐Į’┐Į

We absolutely loved being part of the Dachshund Town, I canŌĆÖt believe we won so many rosettes. There were so many varieties of DaxieŌĆÖs.

The staff and all the stalls were amazing and doggy mad, it was great to be a part of the day. The Fancy dress was my favourite, seeing so many amazing costumes, Max wasnŌĆÖt very happy in heŌĆÖs WhereŌĆÖs Wally (Waldo) outfit but to come 3rd I was amazed and so happy. Thank you

Once again the girls held an amazing Day. The weather was lovely, and all the dogs were so well behaved. I spoke to people that had driven 3 to 4 hrs to be here. Sam, you and your lovely group of helpers made the day fun for all to enjoy.

Fabulous Dachie Day ! Met SO many lovely people and dogs.. all good fun and plenty of prize rosettes for each category 1-10th place which was so good. Very well organised.. and great not to have the only noisy barker !!! Loved it all ­¤ÉŠ­¤śĆ­¤ÉŠ

Excellent event, was lovely to see so many gorgeous snaggles and chat to so many lovely owners, canŌĆÖt wait to bring ours along next year when we bring them back to the Uk with us from Australia ’┐Į’┐Į
