Two extremely useful hours of important information, given by a knowledgeable and friendly trainer, with tips for remembering and practical demonstrations. Very grateful for the fab course, and also for the patience shown despite my excitable eight month old tagging along! Highly recommended to all parents and carers.

User

The course was well paced and well delivered, with acronyms, demonstrations and examples to assist with remembering. Paula was great and made me feel comfortable with asking questions, I would definitely recommend. Thanks Paula!

Sepsis, Viral Meningitis, a major RTA, Scarlet Fever & Febrile Convulsions... all things we have experienced in the last six months with our 2 year old and 7 month old. All things we may have to deal with again, and a paediatric first aid course seemed like a good place to start in being equipped for this.

With our family & close friends we completed the 2 hour course with Paula, at home, with children & labradors.

Nothing fazed Paula, not the endless questions, heavy medical history, she was incredibly friendly, patient, methodical & her knowledge within the parameters of the course & outside of it were second to none.

We asked for certain aspects to be broadened in advance, and her preparation for this was extensive, and for that we're very thankful.

I can't recommend her highly enough, she has given us a sense of peace through knowledge that we needed... & is simply just a lovely lady.

As a parent I feel first aid is an area missed by all the preparatory courses/information you're given/have access to when you have children, I would definitely recommend this to all future parents as well as those with little ones!

Paula we'll be enrolling La in your children's course as soon as she's old enough, closely followed by Arlo.

All the best, and thank you.

Paula was absolutely brilliant! We were a small group of 3 teachers who wanted to learn about life saving first aid. Paula made it interactive with her CPR equipment and choking belt, we had time for questions and stories and she gave us lots of confidence! I really enjoyed Paula's Daisy First Aid :) Thank you!

User

Paula was a brilliant trainer. She explained things in a clear and concise manner covering all the topics that I was hoping for. There were some practical elements to the course such as CPR on babies, children & adults and how to perform effective back blows too. Paula is very friendly and took the time in answering our many questions. I came away feeling more confident and would definitely recommend the course to other new parents.

User

Paula teaches my antenatal classes (at The Bump to Baby Chapter) Baby First Aid, the classes are always well received and she gives out so much information on lots of different scenarios. From emergency situations like choking to the first aid treatments for burns. I think these classes are so important and all parents should go!! Thanks for sharing your wisdom Paula :) xx

User

My husband and I are both really pleased we did this course. It was very informative and has given us the confidence we were seeking regarding baby first aid. The content was delivered in a way that was easy to understand and we were given the opportunity to practice certain things on the equipment and ask any questions. Great value for money and even better that Paula was able to deliver the course at our home with some neighbours. Thanks Paula

User

Massive thanks to Paula for coming to our home and delivering a first aid course for a group of 10 first time parents. We enjoyed the learning, the discussion and hope we don't have to use our new found skills too often!

User

I set up a session for the ladies in our antenatal class and we were all so pleased we did it. It provided that extra information on first aid and filled in any gaps from our antenatal lessons. It was was extremely useful and great you could hold it at home for small groups. PauIa was a very knowledgeable instructor and I now feel much better prepared for our new arrival and confidant that we could at least try to deal with a problem god forbid we need to.

User

I learnt so much from this course - I just wish I had of done it sooner. Paula is so passionate about what she does. She takes the time to go through everything and models it too. It was great practising on the CPR dolls. Paula is friendly and welcoming, and I thought it was lovely that she allowed children under 1 to attend too. Thanks so much Paula. I have recommended you on my Little Learners group page and put the link to your site. Thanks again!

User

I have previously done First Aid training with work but never paediatric. Daisy provided excellent tuition in a relaxed and professional way. This has now given me the confidence to deliver first Aid correctly to children if required. The training was delivered in the home to a group of new mummies and their babies which allowed us to attend their needs when required without missing anything. I would highly recommend the course

User

I attended a course with Paula at the request of my friend Laura, whose review you can read below. I spend a lot of time with her lovely children.

As a non-mum, now feel much more confident that if something went wrong whilst the children were in my care, I would be able to administer the first aid that they required rather than simply panicking.

Paula was an absolute delight to have with us - and hugely approachable with our questions. Thank you so much Paula!

User

I am so pleased we did this course. It was hugely informative. Our friend from antenatal classes organised the course with Paula and we were able to do the course at our house which was brilliant. Paula is lovely and delivered the information very clearly and calmly. She had lots of practical equipment for us to use and practise on. Nothing was rushed and she gave us time to ask questions, even if they weren't about first aid. She's given me lots of confidence to deal with a situation should it arise. Thank you Paula - would definitely recommend! (And thank you also for the extra information you gave us on sleep!)

User

I am so pleased I took this course. The training provided was perfectly tailored for our small groups need as we all have babies that are currently weaning.

At no point did it feel rushed and it was very easy to ask questions to further my understanding.

Paula was very professional but relaxed and made us feel relaxed about having our babies with us during the session.

The hands on materials were a great aid to learning, especially the manakins and the choking vest.

Great value for money and much more effective Than a large group setting.

Thank you Paula, I hope we never need to use your advice in practice but I think

we shall feel more confident if we do!

User

I am a nanny and wanted to refresh my memory so i completed the 2 hour first aid course! Paula came to my home, this was very convenient and way more relaxed than the other first aid courses i have been on. My partner also completed the course he found it very helpful as Paula was able to give advise and relate it to adults too and as he works on building sites this was very helpful! I would recommend Paula to any parent/carer looking to gain knowledge on first aid! She's a lovely lady and easy to communicate with as well as being very knowledgeable! Thank you very much Paula!

User

Great course. So useful to learn the skills and knowledge that's so important in saving lives. Also great to be able to do this in a place that suited us and with our friends. Thanks Paula.

User

First aid was a great help to me and my 6.5 months old daughter. Learned a great deal. Never expected needing to put it in practise 2 days after the course though. I was holding a piece of cucumber and my daughter was chewing on it. No problem there. Apart from the fact that after the 3rd suck a little of cucumber had broken of and was now in her mouth. She has no teeth yet. Was just waiting for it to happen and surely enough, within half a minute it got stuck in her throat and couldn't breathe. She trampled her legs but could not make any sound. I applied the back slaps as instructed the 2 days previous in first aid, and with 3 slaps the cucumber flew out. Thanks so much, because it saved my daughters life.. Xx

User

Exceptional from start to finish. Loved that we can do it from the comfort of our own home. Was really informative, Paula was super friendly and knowledgeable and left us with a new found confidence. Can not recommend enough, thank you!

User

Essential information useful for all shared in an open and engaging way , a must for all prospective parents , parents of infants and toddlers. plus the nibbles at the hotel weren't bad either
