This is a difficult one for me to share, as my eldest son had bad reflux and the car seat seemed to be a way to keep him more upright. However some research has now been done on this.
When babies are in their infant carrier their breathing and hearts rates can increase, possibly putting more pressure on their little bodies and lowering their oxygen levels due to the position they are in. Hopefully a bigger study will be done on this soon, to ensure that the correct advice ca...n be given to parents.
In the meantime, here is some advice how to help reduce the risk of any negative effects
­¤ī╝ If youŌĆÖre using a travel system and going shopping, then stop regularly for a coffee of even just a cuddle
­¤ī╝ If youŌĆÖre going on a longer car journey, take a break for at least 15 minutes taking them out of their seat or have an adult sitting in the back with them to keep an ­¤æü on them
­¤ī╝ When you get home with your fast asleep bubba, take them out and lay them somewhere flat

What a fab course informative and relaxed. The level of knowledge that was taught allowed me to leave feeling confident I could deal with an emergency situation. The course could have been a bit longer but that would not stop me from recommending this course to everyone. 5*****

We had our first aid course at home with 4 others. Lisa was great, very friendly and approachable! Answered all questions and I left feeling very confident that I would know what to do in a variety of situations. Very informative and well spaced out! My brain doesnŌĆÖt work As well as if used to before having a baby do it was important for me to be able to understand and learn! What a great course! Took this course this morning in Weymouth and wow it certainly is alot to take in in 2 hours but we'll worth it and gives you peace of mind to know you are capable of helping a baby /child or adult in situations of needing medical help defo worth every minute . Also Lisa our trainer was lovely and friendly didn't feel at all uncomfortable or put on the spot was a good day and certainly a big eye opener . Lisa delivered her First Aid course in an informative yet informal and relaxed way, perfect for parents, grand parents and carers of young children, I highly recommend Daisy First Aid training.

Lisa bring a lot of knowledge to the course and makes the course interesting by allowing you opportunities to have group discussions, group work and practical experience. However much the prospect of assessment makes me fearful I am so pleased we had the opportunity to have 1:1 practical assessments to establish knowledge and understanding. The multiple choice quiz at the end of the course was also really helpful as I consolidated what we had learnt. Excellent course & would highly recommend.

IŌĆÖve done lots of first aid courses over the years and usually found them very boring and the information hard to remember! but this was my first with Lisa/daisy first aid! And I really enjoyed it!! Lisa made it fun and taught the information in a way that has given me the confidence to be able to deal with a first aid emergency! Thank you!

I went to the 2 hour course today and was extremely impressed! I had done 2 first aid courses before but this was the best. The other two I walked out feeling a bit overwhelmed and worried about using the techniques etc but today I finally left with the confidence to step in and act should it be necessary. I took this course this morning in Blandford and it was brilliant. Well worth the money and time! The information was paced nicely over the two hours so i wasn't 'overloaded' and the practical aspects of the course confirmed my learning. Being able to bring my baby along really made my life easier and he was happy enough playing with the toys that were provided! I absolutely recommend this course!
