... Drowning is the second highest cause of accidental death in children age 15 and under (this is only just behind vehicle accidents).
“750 children are expected drown a year, about half will happen within 25 yards of a parent or carer.”
Prevent it from happening by following the safety tips. Let’s defy the statistics and keep them safe.

🌼New Important Burns Update 🌼
Cool a burn using cold running water for a full 20 minutes. Immediate cooling is best but it is still beneficial even 3 hours after the burn. 🌼... Avoid hypothermia, cool the burn but warm the rest of the casualty, especially with the elderly and children 🌼 Remove jewellery and loose clothing. Do this gently and carefully before the area starts to swell. Do not remove anything that is stuck to the burn. 🌼 Cover the cooled burn with a dressing that won’t stick. Cling film is ideal. Discard the first 2 turns and lay it on the burn.
