Meet Percy!! 🐴🐎
Percy had a ruptured tendon and came on rehabilitation livery. He has been treated for 6 weeks for the tendon rupture in which it completely healed. He was then turned out for a few weeks to help the tendon to strengthen. We rescanned his tendon yesterday and it is completely healed and has strengthened a lot. As you can see in the picture his tendon has healed without leaving any scaring, bowed tendon or any mark!
... Percy is now starting to come back into work and will be hopefully be returning to his racing career 😊

Interesting article about tendons. After recently treating a tendon injury with controlled exercise and pulsed magnetic therapy and ice boots, I had extremely pleasing results with healing in weeks.
Tendons are hard to get the blood flowing to them, box rest limits the blood flow which is needed for healing.

Brilliant results from Jenny and jack. ❀️🐴 I do a lot of work with craven college regularly treating the horses keeping them working to the best of their abilities. Craven college and jenny (the yard manager) look after their horses to a very high standard !! Well done Jenny ❀️🐴

PHYSIOTHERAPY ON A TENDON INJURY πŸ’₯😁 AMAZING results 😁πŸ’₯
In just two weeks look at the results!!
... This case study is a racehorse owned by a regular client that had been in training l. The trainer had stopped working him due to having a bit of heat and swelling in his fore limb. He went home and was ultrasound scanned to find that he had a rupture in his tendon picture A.
I have worked with the owner for quite a while and after discussing everything with her, I gave her this rehabilitation plan. - [ ] pulsed magnetic boot put on twice a day. - [ ] ice boots put on through the day - [ ] magnetic bandaging on through the night.
Picture B is after just 2 weeks!!! It has had started healing amazingly! He has now started further rehab therapy and will be scanned again in a few weeks.
Physiotherapy can be used in all sorts of injuries, maintained and in diseases.
