Another really successful Sunday Roast Day, at one time I had 14 Sunday roasts to prepare and serve up all together!!! Thanks to an oven full of red hot plates and many happy faces I think I pulled it off. Also here is a photo from Thursday of 2 of our lovely regulars enjoying a ploughman’s lunch and Ham, egg, chips and beans with a Gorgeous pot of tea.

‘Competition Winner’
It was an absolute pleasure to meet our competition winner, Carolyn and her sister today, as they came to claim their Afternoon Tea for two. A couple of really nice ladies. Thank you to everyone who participated in mine and Jackie’s wedding Anniversary competition, it was fun and we managed to get a few extra likes on the page, not to mention all the new faces we got to see coming through our doors here at Daisy’s. Don’t worry if you didn’t win on this occasion as I know Jackie has a few more little competitions up her sleeve!!!

And here we have the lovely Jan & Jane and Robert & June, 4 of our loveliest regular customers. I also believe we have our neighbours the Beresford & Leasure family which I do believe they made a special trip to see us as we had our home made meatballs, tomato sauce, pasta and grated cheese as our special, thank you guys!! Look out this week as after last weeks success, I will be making Chilli (or chillout) con - carne again, tomorrow if I get the time!!!

I really need to enlist my Mums services, these are the Christmas cakes she has made for me, my brothers and sister!! Every year she makes us Christmas cakes, I have made my Christmas cakes for Daisy’s and will be dragging mother over to assist in the finishing, just need to feed them with a little more brandy first!!

We have almost got a full house!!! 😱 But for those that really want to come still, we have 2 comfy armchairs with a coffee table in the window available and also the settee area which gives us another 4 seats available. In total we have enough space for 6 more people. We have had such a brilliant response, and we still have a month to go, so snap them up quick to avoid missing out. We will be selling the remainder of the tickets in the shop at £20 per person 😘😘

Another record breaking day!!! 21 roasts served today, also my home made chilli was still a big hit!! Definitely making it again next week!!! Thankyou to all our lovely customers for your continued support, both Jackie and myself love your visits and chatting with you. Finishing off with a Pint Of Kronenbourg 1664, one of my favourite lagers!! See you all on Tuesday as we are closed on Mondays xxx

What a lovely place to eat and drink! Staff were great and accommodated my little ones fussiness without a problem! Would highly recommend a visit to try the breakfast muffins they are amazing! We will definitely be returning again soon!

We took my mum to Daisy's today for her bday. We were made to feel so welcome, and nothing was to much trouble. We had the "Afternoon tea" and it was amazing, we couldnt eat our cake as we were too full, so we had it boxed up and we took it home. Will definitely go back again xx

Took my daughter on a cake date and we both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.Both staff were very welcoming and friendly, and the carrot cake was 100% the best I've ever had.Will definatly be returning to try the watermelon cake very soon�

Popped in for lunch today and this place is just delightful! The owners made us so welcome and the food was delicious. Loved the bone china too! We will definitely be back x

My son and I visited Daisy's for the first time today and will definately be going back. We ordered the afternoon tea which had lovely fresh home made scones and cake with it. Very friendly and welcoming in there and we received great customer service while we were there

Lovely little place and right next to work. SO friendly, warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much for them. Will be regular customers for sure �

Friendly , welcoming, nice varied menu , and enjoyed my light breakfast , took a scone home for the kids who enjoyed it very much, nice to have cups not plant pots ! I will be back :) p.s Carl cooks the tastiest mushrooms ever

Came across this lovely place by chance and nearly left again as we thought it just served teas and cakes. A lovely lady showed us the full menu of hot food and we stayed for lunch. So glad we did. Amazing service, very friendly and a relaxed atmosphere. Love to support an indie!

Called in this morning, with my friend, daughters and three grandsons. The food and service was excellent. Everything cooked fresh, to order, was delicious. Love the decor too .

Called in for a late breakfast today and so pleased we did because it was delish! The bacon was “proper” bacon and the butter on the toast was “proper” butter �

The cakes looked lovely...we didn’t sample this time but will have to try them next time.

Absolutely lovely little tea rooms. Went there today and bought a slice of their homemade Victoria sponge and I can honestly say it was the nicest piece of cake I have ever eaten. The owners are lovely and the atmosphere is great, very relaxed and homely. And what better location than right on the harbour. Definitely worth a visit!

Absolutely joyous, wonderful breakfast and lovely hosts.
