What a fantastic experience ! I had my pre wedding dinner here last night with 14 friends and family . The meal and service was faultless , champagne reception was a lovely way to start the evening and my room was comfortable, stylish and totally restful . I couldn’t ask for more and will definitely return with my future husband . Thankyou Dakota & Leeds you did us proud !

We have stayed at a lot of hotels and l have to say this is one of the best!!! beautiful decor lovely exclusive 1st floor bar over looking Greek street bed's really comfy and really good pillows breakfast is outstanding would definitely recommend this hotel staff very accommodation can't do enough for ye will be returning ���

This is a review of the lounge only - If you are looking for a quiet oasis away from the bustle of Greek Street on a weekend evening then Dakota is the place. This is the perfect chill-out room, attentive service and a great choice of drinks for all tastes, coupled with a mellow vibe in a sparsely lit self indulgent setting, it's a great place to de-stress from the three deep bars and pounding dj-driven theme bars around the city centre. Try it, i'm sure you wont be disappointed.

This is a fantastic hotel,from the minute we entered,the staff were brilliant and couldn’t do enough to help us,the room was immaculate and spacious,had everything you want on a night from home.The champagne bar was a lovely place to relax with our complimentary drinks for my wife’s birthday and the next morning the breakfast was sublime!i can not emphasis how good the staff are here,we will most certainly be staying here for any future visits to Leeds(or Glasgow).very very good service and a big thank you to Dean Sygrove-top bloke!

Stayed at this fabulous hotel for the first time this weekend for a catch up with friends. The rooms are beautiful, the food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff were welcoming, friendly and gave an excellent service. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back soon - thanks to everyone who made our stay so enjoyable!

My husband and I called at the Dakota, Leeds yesterday afternoon for a couple of drinks. The upstairs bar doesn’t open until 5pm but we were shown into the main bar where we ordered our drinks. We were sat in pleasant surroundings near the bar and soon got chatting to one of the very friendly staff who’s name was Vincent. We asked him if there was a bar food menu which he brought to us and at the same time said that we should have a look at the room towards the end of the bar as it may be more comfortable for eating. Although the room and Vincent were very busy he found us a lovely table with very comfortable seating, brought us our next order of drinks and took our order for food. The food was brought to us in good time, I had steak frites which was absolutely lovely and cooked perfectly, my husband had the burger which was delicious. We then had a dessert each which were to die for. We treated ourselves to a cocktail which was fabulous and enjoyed a coffee each to end the afternoon. All in all we had a lovely afternoon made all the better by the attentive staff, especially Vincent, all of whom couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome and comfortable in the lovely surroundings of a beautiful hotel. We will be back very soon for both food and hopefully next time to stay overnight.

I can not believe that someone gave this hotel 1 star! Could not disagree more. I booked this as a birthday treat for my boyfriend. We arrived on Friday afternoon, I had booked valet parking so a very nice helpful man called Ben came out to greet us and took our bags into the reception and then went to park the car. We checked in quickly with no problems and Ben showed us to our room. I had booked the classic room and when we entered we were amazed at how lovely it was. Very modern, comfy bed, huge smart TV mounted on the wall. The shower was awesome. Tea/coffee provided with biscuits and bottles of water. We went for a drink in the terrace bar on the 1st floor before venturing out into Leeds. The bar staff were very friendly and could not do enough for us. Whilst we browsed the drinks menu we were brought a glass of iced water each and a bowl of snacks. Yes the drinks were not the cheapest but it is an amazing hotel in the centre of Leeds so this did not come as a surprise and if you want cheap drinks then you should probably go to a weatherspoons. We did not eat at the hotel this time but will definitely book in at the restaurant the next time we visit. Check out was easy and quick and we popped into Leeds for an hour or so before returning where Ben went to bring our car to the entrance and take the bags out. He was very friendly and helpful and went out of his way and is a credit to the Dekota hotel. All in all it was an extremely enjoyable stay and will definitely be returning and recommending this place to everyone! �

From the moment we entered the hotel we were greeted by the most amazing hosts. The front desk where welcoming and the concierges even gave me ideas on where is good to go in Leeds . The room was second to none. We then went for a drink and went to the wrong floor where we were greeted by a man called Vincent who then took us to where we wanted to go (His character and hospitality was priceless )The terrace bar is staffed by happy and observant staff who are always on hand to help where they can, either asking if you want a drink before going to the bar or giving advice on the city centre .The tables where spotless and customer service that left you feeling fabulous . Will definitely be returning with family and friends.

Excellent service, lovely rooms huge attention to detail and they have Sky in the rooms too! Bar is stylish with a good choice of drinks (although draft beer a bit limited). Best hotel in Leeds

Both staff and amenities in the hotel were brilliant. The staff were very helpful and friendly. As a wheelchair user I find this very important. I was offered a room with a bath (with hand rail) or a shower depending on which would suit my needs better. Staff carried our bags to the room.

I would recommend this hotel to friends and family and would use the hotel again.

Amazing hotel in my old home of a few years, a great place to stay when we visit from Liverpool. Decor in the rooms is top quality and the bar is excellent.

Absolutely fabulous hotel throughout with excellent, friendly service and top quality food. The bar on the ground floor is really pleasant and the staff so polite and attentive. The bedrooms and en suites are of the highest quality and so comfortable; the shower is amazing. I have stayed here a number of times now and I’ve never been disappointed with anything. Excellent...keep up the highest standard you have achieved and I’ll be staying many more times.

Nice hotel, good central location, spacious rooms with modern decor. Would I class as Deluxe probably not. Missing the personal touch, the overall feel regarding hospitality is chilly, lacking warmth. Though it’s common in some hotels, being asked for my credit card to ensure no overspend on the room at check in wasn’t a warm welcome. Perfect for the short stay business trip, that said reception forgot my wake up call this morning so maybe not even that?

A mixed experience. Most of the staff were very hospitable and very friendly. Excellent food and attentive service.



On arrival we asked if we could move tables further into the restaurant and the maitre d’/manager was not interested. Another kind waitress moved us shortly after when we asked again. I was accidentally overcharged 68 pounds and the waitress was very apologetic, but the same manager again was curt and not at all interested when he processed my refund as I left.



As first and last impressions go, not the best. Thankfully the other staff members remained professional and their courtesy made up for any bad feeling

Nice hotel. However major issues the following morning when waking up to no water, so couldn’t get a shower or brush teeth. When ringing reception they were fully aware of this problem but failed to notify guests. Offering to go to Nuffield for a shower, however I paid a lot of money for a room that was not in good working order and I didn’t receive an apology, discount no nothing.

After loving the experience we had with drinks here on our last visit we had been looking forward to tonight’s visit. Sadly it wasn’t to be. The first attempt was being shown to a table and being told water was to follow, quarter of an hour later and no water or anyone to take an order so we left. Second try resulted in being asked to go up to the first floor bar which was exactly the same! A ten minute wait with no sign of any service. Eventually got a complimentary drink when we spoke to the bar about the service but wasn’t enough to salvage the bad experience tonight. As we left there was another group of customers who had been sat with no drinks for over 10-15 mins. Poor poor service.
