Dale House has many strengths including a broad curriculum which caters for a wide variety of academic abilities and provides great opportunities for sport, music, dance, art, drama and foreign languages. We also have an excellent examination record. Above all, Dale House is a very happy school where children enjoy life to the full, discovering more about the world around them.
Housed in a former Edwardian parish hall built in 1907, Dale House was founded in 1997 and is a small Independent School with a Christian ethos, serving Batley, Dewsbury, Leeds, Bradford and Wakefield areas. We strive to uncover hidden talents and develop individual strengths in a caring and supportive learning environment. The school has both pre and post school clubs, so pupils are cared for between 8. 00am and 6. 00pm. The school also runs a 'Holiday Club' out of term time.
