The very first company in the world to patent and produce two piece plastic ear tags, Dalton was established in 1947 and despite becoming a worldwide recognised brand it has remained a privately owned business for over 60 years. While livestock identification systems for disease control, traceability andmeat assurance are the company's main business it remains also a world leader in producing systems for wildlife and marine research. The Company takes the quality of its products very seriously and ensures that its service and delivery promises are never compromised. In a recent survey 98% of customers said they would recommend Dalton to other people.
