Damien Poole Theatre Arts Description
DPTA is North Yorkshires newest establishment for professional training in Musical Theatre. Offering unique classes in all aspects of theatre arts specifically designed to challenge and nurture students into becoming talented well-rounded, singers, dancers and actors. Classes and timetables are designed to replicate those of Londons most influential drama and theatre schools. DPTA offers Yorkshire students the same quality teaching, opportunities and challenges that excel students to succeed in achieving their individual dreams, in the same way as London’s most famous faculties, all in a safe, caring environment in the beautiful spa town of Harrogate.
Taught by qualified DBS checked tutors with over 40 years of theatre experience, DPTA’s training is of an exceptionally high standard. It offers examinations in BBO, Lamda and RSL, with scheduled visits from influential guest teachers currently working professionally in TV, Film, Broadway and London’s West End.

My Adult Tappers are absolutely smashing their ‘Stepping Out’ number for the showcase! Really exciting how much they’ve come on over these two years.

DPTA Associates Intensive Is back this Sunday 25th November!

We have the incredible Marc Antolin - just got back from his US Tour and just played the lead role in Little Shop of Horrors - leading his Choreography Workshop.
... We also have the amazing Nathan Graham from DREAMGIRLS and Thriller Live leading his Dance audition based Workshop for our students.
We also hope to have the amazing West End director Lloyd Wood (please google him - you’ll be amazed) this Sunday, but due to certain circumstances - may not be able to attend - so have the incredible Adam Stadius (Actor, Tutor and Leading the Musical Theatre course at Leeds College of Music) coming in regardless to chat about Drama School and your options for the future.
As well as the brilliant Sarah Redgwick leading her ensemble technique classes and 1-1 singing technique and repertoire classes through the day.
Please bring sheet music with you if you are doing your 1-1’s.

Just a quick note to ensure those enquiring about classes understand the invoices.
The classes are priced between £8.50 - £10 PER CLASS depending on what class you want to partake in. All fees must be paid for a term at a time.
That's two parents now who thought the price was £8.50 for the whole term. That would make each class 70p per class to attend.
... As much as i'd love to offer this price, I have to pay rent and tutor costs, which are sadly much more than this.
