🗞 NEWSPAPER PLEA 🗞
We hope everyone is keeping safe and well during these difficult times. We are busy at the centre and still closed during the lockdown.
We have been inundated with lots of generous donations and we are extremely grateful 😊
... However, we are short of newspapers for our smaller residents 🗞 Donations can be brought to the centre and left at our reception door 😊
We also no longer require soft, cushioned dog beds. Thank you so much 😊

🌟THANK YOU🌟
A massive thank you to Leigh and Liz who collected donations for us from Braintree and the surrounding villages. They came in today to drop everything off and we couldn't believe the generosity of everyone.
We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to everyone that is continuing to support us during these difficult times.
... And most importantly, stay safe x

Look what our Rabbit volunteer has accomplished... She’s only gone and had her story published! Well done Steph! ❤️ Stephanie Price has been volunteering at Danaher with mainly the rabbits for a couple of years now and has made a huge difference with all the time, experience and support she has given us. The rabbits look forward to her twice weekly visits where they are treated to endless cuddles and occasional dates with other lone bunnies we may have here... her knowledge has proved extremely helpful but above all we love her for her commitment and the abundant love she has for anything ‘rabbit’ ❤️. Massive THANK YOU to Steph for being you and making such a huge difference to the many bunny residents we have had at Danaher (past and present!) 🐰💖

Maya has special dietary needs in order to minimise skin irritation, meaning she requires a grain free diet. We are becoming low on this type of food and would appreciate any donations of the following through our Amazon Wish List. We thank all of our supporters in advance, and we hope your are keeping safe and healthy at this time 🐾

Despite having placed a strict lockdown at the Home, the work continues as normal, but with skeleton staff who which are now living on site.
Each day the team carries out all aspects of animal care as well ensuring all current animals are being walked, having time spent with them as well as plenty of cuddles and fuss.
Despite the current situation regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, the small team we have onsite consisting of animal care managers, seniors and assistants, the s...pirits are high to ensure all our current animals needs are being met each day.
We cannot thank all our supporters and followers enough for their generous donations for our animals. We cannot do what we do here at the Home without your support, so thank you.
If you would like to make a donation, please see our Amazon Wish List here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/…/ref=cm_sw_r_ cp_ep_ws_jvN0ybY465Y…
We hope you, your pets and families are keeping safe and healthy throughout this unprecedented time.

WOW WOW WOW😲
We thought we would share some good news with you all! Before we went on lock down and were no longer allowed to rehome or foster animals out we managed to rehome 12 dogs, 9 small animals, and 15 cats!!😲🐾🏡
We are super happy we managed to rehome this many animals before the lock down. We want to thank you all for your support, donations and kind words during these troubled times.❤️
... We hope this post puts a smile on your face🥰

🐾MENTAL STIMULATION IS IMPORTANT🐾
Due to the current circumstances we understand that many people perhaps aren’t walking their dogs as much. We thought we would put together a little video with some ideas of how you can keep your dogs brains busy without having to leave the house!😁
By providing your dog with mental enrichment you will prevent them from becoming bored and exhibiting unwanted behaviours😊 it is also a fantastic way to bond with your dog❤️
... We hope you find the video useful! Unfortunately you can’t comment pictures of your dogs doing enrichment activities but do send us a message to show us how you are keeping your dog mentally stimulated during these difficult times!🐾 🦠

We have come to the reluctant decision that we have a social responsibility to close all 6 of our charity shops. In doing so we hope to aid the effort to maintain social distancing.
This decision has not been taken lightly given how reliant we are on our shop income. We are now on a count down to how long our reserves keep us operational.
... To continue our work we welcome donations in the form of food and blankets.
If you can drop off at the centre in Wethersfield (you can leave items outside reception) we would be grateful, please call 03001114321 for the address and let us know when to expect you. Alternatively you can make a purchase via our Amazon wishlist. Thank you.

In these troubled, worrying times I thought I’d share this video of our scrumptious Coco (buck) and Chanel (doe) to try and brighten your day a little.
They are amongst our long stays here at Danaher and are unlucky to have had 2 previous reserves come off through no fault of their own 😢... that’s twice they’ve had their hopes raised thinking they had found their happy ever after but both times have come to nothing. 🏡✖️😭
... Although we are closed to public at this time we are still taking interests for our animals and filing them interests until the time comes when we are able to invite people in and hopefully place our furbabies within the perfect family & home for them. 🥰🤞🏼
If you would like to offer Coco and Chanel the forever home they dream of each night please register your interest in them ❤️.
