Dance4Fun Description
Dance4Fun is an emerging and exciting new dance school founded in November 2013 by Briony and Holly Chesterfield.
Our ethos is to make dance accessible for children of all ages so they can share some of the amazing experiences and opportunities we have had. Our aim has always been to teach dance in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere with an emphasis on FUN.
We have had some amazing opportunities so far and have performed in shows across the country and overseas including, Sadlers Wells and Her Majesty's Theatre in London's West End, The Royal Albert Hall, in Disneyland Paris and in New York City. We raised over £3, 000 for Comic Relief with our Danceathon last year which 200 local children were part of. We are extremely grateful and humbled by what we have achieved as dancers but now we want to give back some of the enjoyment we have had as choreographers and as teachers.
We currently teach Ballet, Cheerleading and Streetdance to children age 3 + and also have a Zumba fitness class for adults.
We bring our fun, enthusiasm and encouragement to every class and are absolutely loving it!

This morning was absolutely AMAZING!! Soo nice to see everyone together, mixing with dancers from different classes/year groups. Well done to our StarZ and Heroes who performed in front of sooo many people - you guys were awesome as usual.. Photos to follow <3

...and so it begins... these amazing dancers are coming with us to LONDONNNN!! Can't wait for our first rehearsal on Thursday! BIG thanks to parents for running them to and from dancing and then to the photo shoot today so your girls can feature in the programme <3

Another HUGE well done to all dancers who were awarded today for their amazing efforts in their ballet and team exams. Special mention to Mckinleigh for achieving the highest in Primary Ballet this time with 85% <3
We went on a cruise for a rest.. and ended up dancing all over Europe!?! Can't wait to be back dancing with everyone at home next weekend - classes resume 6th/7th September. Next summer.. your turn!

Sooooo BUZZING to announce that we will be taking 48 of our dancers to LONDON this year!!! Thank you to everyone who has made this opportunity possible... hope you're all as excited as we are. Dance4Fun will ROCK Sadler's Wells!!!!
Only a week since we last saw you all but already there is LOADS to look forward to, including this team-building event... We would like dancers (and parents) to join us in a 5K Bubble Rush in aid of Wigan & Leigh Hospice on 6th October 2019. We are BUZZING to have been asked to perform before the event AND lead a warm-up for all participants!!! Who's in???
Yesterday D4F received a cheque from Alekhya for £280 who raised the money by completing a 54 mile bike ride last weekend!! She did this in 6:52 hrs, an amazing achievement for someone so young!! Very inspired and very grateful for this- a huge amount of money that will benefit lots at D4F. Thanks Alekhya, Geeta & Kumar xxx
