Thanks to everyone who came along last night and made it such a great evening! Next one will be on Friday 14th September.....Dave Spencer and Chris Hepworth will be hosting then we end our Open-Mic season with an 'after party'! Enjoy a drink at our new riverside bar before the evening starts....food served 6-9pm.....hope to see you 😉

We have eaten here many times. The great variety of appetising food is freshly prepared to order and is served by friendly polite staff. They cater for all comers, welcoming walkers, cyclists and those just out for a drive. Dogs are welcome with a covered terrace overlooking the river. There is a small play area and you can hire a bike if you didn't bring your own.

Visited here for the first time this weekend! Really is Bedfordshires best kept secret! Had a nice walk and then followed it with some food. Was a wait of 45min but with being in the sunshine and right next to the river, and seeing how obviously busy they were, then you'd have to be an idiot to complain about the wait. We will definitely be visiting again soon!

The kids had a great time on the pony’s and bouncy castle today and all the staff were fab when my daughter hurt herself. Thank you all so much.

Masive thanks to all for making our breakfast for 12 a wonderful engagement💍 experience. Lovely food and great surroundings. Such a lovely morning.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere for a family Christmas Eve lunch, food great and we could take our time, our dog came too in the large undercover heated area, loads of space between tables, finished off with a long walk, perfect!

Lovely place I never knew existed and on the door step so to speak.. Great scenery and tranquil setting topped off with good food..

Love this place came for first time on my new bike with partner. He recommended it as we was out. Lovely place our new possible favourite. Love the bar area.

Just returned from a wonderful Fathers Day river trip on the Artful Dodger. Plenty of delicious food and the hospitality was second to none. It was our first visit to the Danish River Camp and we will definitely be back as we were really impressed. Our daughter, Megan loved Ozzie the owl and also loved the 3 elderly gentlemen on the boat. They were so lovely. Thank you so much for a wonderful afternoon.

If you are looking for a family run welcoming place Danish Camp is your answer. Just had breakfast here and it was superb, staff are always so helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone �

Fantastic place to go and relax and have lunch or a drink and slow down your pace of a hectic life and the open mic nights are just fab

Fantastic family riverside place to enjoy the tranquility of the river for all ages bike hire ,,, dogs are well come with there family ... Bouncy castle for the children to be entertained ,,, Fantastic food Overall 5 star rated :-)

Danish Camp is a lovely place, food is excellent and the surrounding are beautiful x��

We love coming here for a walk along the river in winter and boating in summer. The only reason I've given 4 stars and not 5 is that when we come to hire a boat and the cafe is busy, there's a bit of a wait as there's usually only one, sometimes two members of staff doing everything and I feel sorry for them being rushed off their feet. Other than that, great place!

Love coming here - beautiful location but the slow service just lets it down. Perhaps just have someone taking orders for food and others for just drinks rather than one person who seems to do everything. Coffee machines are slow why not have someone just making tea/coffee. There must be an easier way for faster service - other places aren't this slow.

Great place for a weekend breakfast. As long as you can get there between 9 and 10:45!

This was our first choice for a Sunday morning breakfast. Lovely place and good food normally, but the time it takes for food to be ordered and served is pathetic. Over 25 minutes queuing and another 55 minutes waiting for a couple of rolls and before the 'we were busy' response comes back I must say that I have seen it a lot worse.

Hi, we love walking/riding to DC, followed by a snack after. However, we waited over 45 minutes yesterday for a tuna sandwich and 2 fish finger sandwiches. Whilst we understand it was busy and food is cooked to order, we couldn't understand why it takes so long. There seemed to be a lot of staff around but not actually doing much. Although we have a very well behaved 5 year old, it is unfair to make a family wait 45 minutes for a simple lunch or an explanation of when our food would be ready. I'm afraid this is not the first time service has been really slow. Hopefully you can turn this round as would be a shame not to come back. Thanks Mark Sexton

Came with my family today including son with special needs. Staff were very rude to him ignoring him & asking for mum to order instead. On ordering of food they were told about dietary requirements yet when food arrived they had ignored this important information. Change your attitude to people with disabilities, at the end of the day they are still a person and have just as much of s right to be here as you & I. ����
